Villa with pool and huge garden, near mount Etna

Villa Edera is located on the south-eastern flanks of Mount Etna near the village of Trecastagni. Designed by the French architect Savin Couelle, it is loved for its vaulted ceilings, the harmony of the arches, the refined furnishings and antique furniture. It will surprise you with its lush garden of typically Mediterranean trees, Etnean shrubs, flowers and the large swimming pool. The space Villa Edera is just a few minutes outside the charming town of Trecastagni and easily reachable from both Taormina and Catania. The house is on three floors. From the main entrance, up a few steps, one accesses the entrance hall. This leads in turn to a dining room and then on to the extremely spacious living area, complete with fireplace and large French window accessing the beautifully tended gardens. The well-equipped kitchen opens onto a wonderful flower-covered patio area. A ramp leads down to a lower ground floor with a single bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a guest bathroom. On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms and one single. Two of the doubles have en-suite bathrooms (one with shower and tub, the other with tub only), while the third shares a bathroom with shower with a single bedroom. The gardens are beautifully tended, with large expanses of perfect lawn, Mediterranean trees and plants and perfumed flowers. The wonderful pool is surrounded by lawn and shady areas.
