"Il Querciolo" is an ancient farm located in Valdichiana. It is a place where you can breathe the "Tuscany" and where you can listen to the sound of nature, it is the place to immerse yourself in country life to give and receive unique and unforgettable emotions. Today it is an entirely organic farm that produces legumes, cereals, oil and Syrah wine. These products can be tasted in our Agriturismo, where the Cellar is also located. The space The farmhouse stands on a gentle hill in the middle of the Valdichiana, among olive trees, vineyards and fields cultivated with wheat and sunflowers. Depending on your needs, it is possible to choose between six types of apartments, created in the ancient 19th century farmhouse and in the annexes, all furnished in rustic style with original period family furniture. The apartments are equipped with every comfort, each with an independent bedroom and bathroom. Guests have access to a swimming pool in which to relax and enjoy unique views and sunsets. The farmhouse is the ideal place for families with children looking for rest, in contact with nature and the real Tuscany. At Querciolo you can breathe the history of a family that has loved its land for generations and has remained intimately linked to it. The apartment is at the ground floor with independent entrance. It is composed by 3 large rooms, with vaulted brick ceilings in the living room and wooden beams in the living room and bedrooms. It was obtained from the renovation of the cellars. In the living-dining room there is a kitchenette with a round brick arch that separates it from the living room where there is a double sofa bed and fireplace. It features two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower/bidet/WC. The furniture are very comfortable, antique, warm and nice. The heating is trough methane gas. The apartment has a small table and chairs in the front and a large table and chairs in the rear garden. The apartment is suitable for the disabled, who have the possibility, if necessary, to park the car next to the apartment, on a special reserved space in front of the secondary entrance • Sleeps: 4+2 • Surface area: 110 m² • Outdoor relaxation area: front and back • Mosquito nets on all windows • Kitchenette with 4 burners, oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, freezer and satellite TV, protected cot available on request. • 1 bathroom set up for the disabled in accordance with the law with floor-level shower and seat included Guest access All areas of the farmhouse are shared with guests except for the areas reserved for each apartment which are indicated by a special tag with the name of the apartment itself Other things to note The services we offer are varied and all designed to guarantee guests a unique experience in our countryside. WIFI is present throughout the property and is free for guests. The swimming pool (12x6x2m) is shared between the guests but remains for their exclusive use. They can use the pool from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm from May to September according to the weather of the season. At the pool, guests have a reserved space, indicated by a plate with the name of the apartment where they can find one umbrella, sunbeds, sun chairs and a small table. Guests must respect the pool regulations and bring their own bath towel. If they do not have towels, they can request them to the host at the arrival or at the booking and they will be provided with an extra price. The use of the swimming pool is prohibited for kids without adults. Diving or other dangerous actions are not allowed. In the Agriturismo there is a laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer that can only be used on request with an extra price. The service is shared with the other guests of the Agriturismo. During the colder season (normally in the winter months, from October to April included, based on the climate) the rates shown do not include central heating, to be paid separately based on consumption at a cost of €7.00/m3. Each accommodation is individually controlled. Pets are allowed but only one (1) per apartment, with a maximum weight of twenty (20) kg. The price for accommodation is 10.00 euros per night per pet (dog or cat). At the time of booking or upon arrival at the farmhouse it is possible to request breakfast for the following day. Breakfasts are served in the breakfast room, in front of the swimming pool, from 8.00 to 10.00 in the morning. The price is 12.00 euros per person. To make the arrival at the Agriturismo even more pleasant, guests can request a bottle of "Occhio di Civetta" Syrah IGT Toscano, directly produce in the winery of “il Querciolo”.
