It’s private entry for your own accommodation outdoor kitchenette - We live on the property but not a shared house. Family owned - Safe river to swim on property Set on the river surrounded by birds. The space The Homestead is a comfortable space, sitting on a 2-acre property amongst the open greenery of the tropical rainforest. It is just a few short minutes drive to the main terminal to access The Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest and Kuranda Skyrail. The world famous Paronella Park and the Cape Tribulation are also only a few short kilometers away, not to mention all the beautiful Islands you can visit. The accommodation (ONLY 2 BEDROOMS - your own entry your own bathroom and a full set up kitchenette ) at The Homestead features panoramic views of the escarpment and gorgeous visiting Ulysses butterflies. Situated on a large and open block with undisturbed and flora, the peaceful tranquil setting of The Homestead is perfect for a relaxing hideaway. Alternatively, its spacious open area provides an affordable holiday for those with pets. Families have the opportunity to explore and play outdoors. Within a 2 minute walk from the property, watch turtles swim under the bridge in an open flowing creek or go for a walk or bike ride. There is a safe 20km path built in the past year that follows the freshwater creek. The path takes you on an exploration of rainforests, sugar cane fields, creeks, swimming holes and waterfalls. Play a game of tennis on the public courts or push the little ones on the swings at the children park. Afterwards, grab an ice cream or go for a swim. Guest access At The Homestead, you will have access to an entire end of the property which includes two king bedrooms. Your property has its own private entrance. bedroom is separated from the main quarters when we are on the property. Full ensuite, balcony access with mountain views and your own TV with Netflix and Spotify. The kitchen set up is beautiful- An outdoor BBQ area set up in the garden. There is a full kitchenette set up on timber verandah overlooking mountains - large dinning table and lounge. Gas cooker two burner Plus BBQ double door fridge freezer etc Also On the timber verandah a set up of coffee and tea and toast making facilities microwave All dishes are provided. All the kitchen facilities are set up on the out door deck. Its a full kitchenette. The backyard is is 2 acres. There are lemon, lime and grapefruit trees. Also a small plantation of bananas. A veggie garden with chickens and ducks and our dog Diesal. Other things to note Winter open camp fire on request - sit around relax We know most Pert friendly cafes, restaurants. We have the best babysitting service or our baby sitter can attend tours to assist you for the day.
