This 2–Bedroom 1–Bathroom lower/basement level apartment in my home, is nestled along the Cumberland River, in a lovely and safe, Country legends-history-filled neighborhood. This is your eclectic 50-60s "Fab Pad" during your stay in Nashville… love it like it was your own… take care of it like it was your home! The space The quaint and private 2–bedroom, 1–bath “GuesT QuarTers," suite is approximately 1,400 sq ft of vacation living space, fully furnished and has its own separate access at the bedroom entrance with parking right at the door. Easy to come and go as you please! The cozy quarters are privately situated entirely on the lower/basement level of this home in "Inglewood"; the most charming neighborhood in Nashville, on a majestic, beautiful street in one of the oldest neighborhoods, and home to many Country legends/stars from Roy Acuff and Little Jimmy Dickens to Dolly's sister, Stella, and numerous songwriters, Opry musicians, mayors and others! We are situated in a plush riverside landscape amidst huge old trees and winding backroads. Six miles from downtown--even closer to trendy local beer gardens & eateries within 2 miles! Popular biking and walk/run trails just blocks away in Shelby Bottoms Park offering some 20+ miles of exploration via bike trails, parks & playgrounds to fun water sliding within 5-6 miles: Wave Country--Opry Mills shops-- & Hotel--The Grand Ole Opry, etc!! You will likely hear the distinct "Honk" of the infamous General Jackson riverboat on its daily excursions, to realize how CLOSE Nashville's central attractions truly are! Your stay in the GuesT QuarTers will make you feel like one of a locals, who "live and belong" here in the glorious MUSIC CITY that is NASHVILLE! The GuesT QuarTers includes: 5 rooms: Kitchen/Dining, 2 Bedrooms, 1–bath, plus a GreatRoom-Living area—which may be curtained-off to serve as a third sleep space w/a queen futon sofa and large walk-in dressing closet. The suite will comfortably sleep 4-5 adults, or a family with several children. Exception may be made to sleep more w/air mattress and/or crib--if needed. Ask to reserve these amenities in advance so that they are conveniently in place upon check-in! Please feel free to express need for special consideration or exception for your particular circumstances. CHECK-IN is 3:00pm ~ CHECK-OUT is 11am The check in-out times may be Flexible depending on availability. Please discuss this option if needed. Something "special"… There is a beautiful large backyard with a small ground-level deck at the bedroom entrance to sit outside during your stay! Location "PerKs and BonuSes": The nearest pubs, eateries, pharmacy, grocery, liquor store and MORE within 1-2 miles! Live music venues are "everywhere" in Nashville/the area and along Gallatin Pk--becomes Main Street as you drive closer into downtown!! The popular intersection area known as “Riverside Village”—2 miles away, and “5 Points" is just 5 miles away with many more pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and locally-owned shops! The downtown hub tourist area, Centennial Park, Vanderbilt, and convention center are all accessible within 10-20 minutes! DownTown is just 7 miles away—15min! Guest access You have your own laundry room located in the foyer area just outside your kitchen. You are welcome to use the front porch if necessary to await a taxi service, especially during rainy weather, etc. Large BROWN Trash bins and GREEN Recycling bins are just outside back door from kitchen, thru laundry room, when there are trash waste items (diapers, old food, etc) that need to go directly outside the apartment. Other things to note Permit#(URL HIDDEN)Special note: Legendary Country Star and original host of the Grand Ole Opry, Roy Aculff, lived in the home directly across the street until the late 80s when he moved into his final abode on the hotel property; to make it easier for Roy to get to the Opry stage in his waning years.
