Built in 1898, Springburn Cottage is full of character and history – George Bernard Shaw stayed here. Situated in the Highland village of Strachur on the banks of Loch Fyne in Argyll, it’s been lovingly restored and is full of country charm. The space INTERIOR The living room is warm and inviting with a fireplace and wooden floors. The country kitchen/dining is a lovely space area with a beamed ceiling and a quarry-tiled floor. The bathroom and utility room are also downstairs. There’s a steep staircase to first floor where there are two spacious double bedrooms, one with an ornamental fireplace and a sofa-bed (for +one). It's also well placed to explore the rest of this lovely part of the west coast of Scotland. The local shop is one mile down the road and a pub and tennis courts are one and a half miles away.
