Acorn Hill has two cottage units available .. one upper with a king bed and one lower with a king and twin bed. (Note, this posting is for one of our cottage units and is not for one of the suites in the main lodge). Small pets welcome, additional charges apply (typically $25 per night per pet; discounts for longer stays; collected at time of stay). All stays come with a hot made-to-order breakfast in our restaurant. Bistro hours: Mon-Sat 6:30am-11:00am Sunday Brunch 9:00am-2:00pm We offer two studio efficiency apartments behind our main lodge at Acorn Hill called the cottages. We typically use them as overflow accommodations and they are often available. They have more of a rustic feel to them than our beautiful suites inside the lodge. Because of this, they are offered at less expensive rate than our lodge suites. Please note, this posting is NOT for our large suites inside the lodge. Cottages A and B are equipped with everything you need for an overnight trip or an extended stay. You will be placed in one of these two cottage units, both in the same building. The photos listed are of both spaces. You will be placed in one depending on availability. All stays come with a full hot breakfast in our restaurant located inside the main lodge. Bistro hours: mon-sat 6:30am-11:00am sunday 8:00am-11:00am Upon your ARRIVAL, if we have availability, we may have the option to upgrade you to the lodge! :) Please note, upgrades do not happen in advance. You'll have access to our main lodge equipped with sitting room, game room, and laundry room (charges associated). We also have a full service Spa and Salon on site and a public restaurant (morning hours only) inside our main lodge. Feel free to walk the grounds. Hang out on our porches and back patio. Visit the pond in the front and feed our ducks and any visiting geese. We have a reception area generally staffed from 8-8. During slow hours we may not be on site, but staff is available by phone 24 hours a day. Feel free to come in the lobby and make yourself at home. Snag a cookie or a hot drink from the keurig and use the fancy foot massager. :) If the front desk is staffed, you may also purchase beer or wine from us. We're in a lovely residential area. Bus pick up isn't too far away. We can coordinate and airport/train station pick up for your arrival or departure if given advanced notice. Just down the road from Lynchburg College. A short drive to to Liberty and Randolph.
