Garden is NOT included in the apartment rental, but can be used for your pet (if you clean up after it). Ventura is a great beach-side city with easy access to regional gems like Ojai (20 minutes up Highway 33), Carpinteria (20 minutes up the 101), and Santa Barbara (35 minutes up the 101). It's also a great base for cyclists. Take the bike path all the way up to Ojai along the Ojai Valley Trail along the old railway line or cycle on the path along the Pacific all the way to Carpinteria or Santa Barbara. Favorite hiking trails include the Botanical Garden behind Ventura City Hall (trailhead is a 15-minute walk from this listing) or the Shelf Road up in Ojai.
