The Mosel vacation home Würzgarten is located in the romantic Mosel town of Ürzig on Würzgartenstraße. It is located about 120 m from the Mosel directly in the historic center. The vacation home can be booked all year round and is run as a non-smoking house. It can accommodate up to 10 people (ideally 8 adults and 2 children) and is suitable for families, friends, small groups, associations, clubs and small companies. The house was renovated, refurbished and completely refurnished in autumn 2018. The space The large eat-in kitchen was equipped in autumn 2018 with a new fitted kitchen and a large pull-out table with 8 chairs. 2 additional chairs are also available. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, a ceramic hob with 4 hotplates, an oven and a fridge with freezer compartment. In addition to the usual cutlery and crockery, a microwave, a filter coffee machine with grinder (filters are available), a kettle, a toaster, an egg cooker and a knife block are available for free use. Clean dish towels, dish brush and sponges are also available. For different tastes, a spice carousel with many different spices is available. With the new music system (CD/MP3 player, PLL radio and cassette player), you can determine your personal entertainment program according to your own needs. At night and on darker days, a large ceiling light with switchable cold and warm light and infinitely variable brightness control ensures a pleasant atmosphere. Right next to the kitchen is a storage room in which there are various cleaning utensils in addition to the vacuum cleaner. A small wardrobe is in the upstairs stairwell. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms of about 13 m² and about 20 m². Both rooms have a double bed of 160 x 200 cm, 2 nightstands with lights and a spacious wardrobe with drawers, storage compartments and hangers. A satellite TV with remote control is also available. The larger room also has a pull-out sofa bed (sleeping area about 140 x 200 cm) and a table with 2 chairs. Also on the upper floor are 2 shower rooms of about 7 m² and 4 m², each with a toilet, shower, towel rail, LED mirror, hairdryer and 2 toothbrush cups. The attic has 2 bedrooms of about 12 m² and about 16 m². Both rooms have a double bed of 160 x 200 cm, 2 nightstands with lights and a spacious wardrobe with drawers, storage compartments and hangers. A satellite TV with remote control is also available. Both rooms are furnished with a table with 2 chairs. The larger room also has a sofa. 2 shower rooms of about 5 m² and 2 m², each with a toilet, shower, towel rail, LED mirror, hairdryer and 2 toothbrush cups. Bed linen, towels and shower towels are available free of charge. For longer stays, these are changed weekly. Toilet paper is provided on arrival. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. In the basement, which is accessible from the outside through a separate door at ground level, there is a 15 m² bicycle garage with charging facilities for e-bikes. Since 04/01/23, all guests have received the VRT guest ticket with which you can use all local transport (bus and train) in the VRT area free of charge. More information about the VRT guest ticket can be found on our website. This allows you to make great excursions without the hassle of finding a parking space and therefore contributes to a relaxed and environmentally conscious vacation. Occupancy of the rooms: Basically, the whole house is always rented, the accommodation is always 2 people in a double room. If they wish to be accommodated in a double room for single use, a surcharge of €5.00 per room per night will be due. The surcharge is to be paid in cash on site. Guest access Guests generally have access to all rooms, with the exception of the unfinished vaulted cellar and the building services room behind the bicycle garage. Please note that the existing washing machine is only available for a minimum stay of 7 nights. Other things to note The house does not have its own parking spaces, but the house can be approached directly for unloading and loading. There is ample public parking within 50-100 m. Just a few meters from the cottage is the tourist office, wineries, restaurants and wineries where wine tastings are possible. Everything is within walking distance. A Moselle boat trip can be taken from the local jetty. When cleaning our vacation home, we attach great importance to cleanliness and hygiene. We assume that you will do the same.
