Description
Victorian farmhouse with loft apartment over the garage. The farm is 23 acres mostly in strawberries and horse pasture. We are located about 25 miles south of downtown Portland and about 30 miles north of downtown Salem. We are conveniently located near I5 Interstate, Highway 99E and Aurora Airport. It is a short drive to the town of Canby, Wilsonville and Aurora all of which have several grocery stores and good restaurants. -- Stays of 28 days or more please see rate discount. The space The Loft apartment is large and bright, but quiet and peaceful as it is separate from the main house and has a separate entrance. It is listed here as a studio apartment because the bedroom is not walled off. The bedroom is separated by a privacy screen. The kitchen and bath are walled off from the main loft area. The apartment is quite large – please see measurements in photo captions. The kitchen and bath have hardwood floors and there is a skylight over the kitchen area. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped. You should find everything you need to cook pretty much anything. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator/freezer, a small dishwasher, 4 burner stove with oven and broiler, microwave, full set of dishes and flatware, mixing and serving bowls, pots, pans, utensils, K cup coffee maker, food processor, waffle maker, toaster, microwave, pot holders, dish towels, wine glasses, etc. Guest access The apartment has a private entrance, its own kitchen and laundry. In addition to the apartment guests have full access to the garden, patio and hot tub. The laundry room is in the garage at the bottom of the stairs. The washer and dryer are dedicated for guest use. The kitchen is fully equipped: full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, small appliances, etc. In June you may pick your own strawberries from the front field. Other things to note I have a young dog that is still learning manners but making progress and wants to please. There are several gates for the horses. It is important to leave the gates as you found them. If you are interested in visiting with the horses I prefer to introduce you to them first -- so please ask.
