Croquet Lodge has everything on hand that you need to make your vacation complete. The common areas are warm and open, creating many opportunities for group activities. The large living room with its soaring stone fireplace, invites you to gather for games, music, reading and movies. There is even a grand piano for group sing-a-longs. If you are more recreation-minded, head down to the finished, walk-out basement where you will find a rec room with a ping pong table, dart board and the convenience of a full bath. You’ll have lots of opportunity for friendly, competitive play here! Just be mindful of noise levels please. If the outdoors is more your recreation style, simply leave your front door and cross the boundary into Glimmerglass State Park where you will find sandy beaches, picnic areas, Hyde Hall, and several interesting hiking trails. You may even find the old covered bridge. If you need a break from the group, you will love the bedroom set-up. Each room is its own suite with private bath, lake views, and television. Your kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities. With lots of counter space and generous lighting throughout, (not to mention glorious lake views), cooking with, or for a group, has never been more pleasurable. The kitchen/dining area also has a wet bar with a bose docking station for your favorite tunes. A relaxed evening spent on the grand covered deck, sipping your favorite cocktail, watching the sun set, or the stars twinkle over the water is sure to calm the soul! There is a private dock at water's edge which serves as the launch point for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking, or for wetting your fishing line. (Sorry, we cannot accommodate motor boats).
