Our Separation Creek / Wye River Beach House is the ultimate place to reconnect with nature and simple pleasures. An idyllic location, this coastal retreat provides all the opportunity to wind down, to find solitude. Wake to waves rolling, spot koalas in the towering trees, watch whales migrate through Bass Strait and hear birds singing in the morning sun. Adjoining the Great Otway National Park, take in rugged coastlines, spotless beaches and the mountains of the Otway Ranges. The space Note: - Booking for 1-2 guests means access to 1 x king-sized guest room (1 bedroom will remain closed). - Booking for 3-4 guest means access to 2 x king-sized guest rooms (both bedrooms will be open). - Each guest room has its own spacious ensuite. - Generally, we are a pet-free house. However, if you have a small dog who you would love to bring with you, please contact us to discuss. The Space: Upstairs is the entertaining space with a wide-open and fully appointed kitchen which overlooks the adjacent nature reserve, bistro-style dining and open fire. In keeping with our vision, there is a spectacularly large veranda, perfect for taking in the incredible views while enjoying a G&T. Downstairs is a private retreat for each guest, with three boutique hotel-style rooms. Our Beach House can sleep up to 4 guests across 2 private rooms. Our property offers ‘democratic’ private bedrooms, all with identical proportions, king-sized beds, luxury linen, separate bathrooms and stunning floor to ceiling ocean views. This means there’s a private space for every person to enjoy. No one needs to draw straws for the best room! We have a fireplace (with ample fire wood provided) plus ducted heating and cooling throughout. Tools to Cook, Play & Relax: We have equipped our Beach House with all the tools you need to cook, to play and to relax for hours on end. To help you enjoy a unique 'momentary escape' our Beach House includes: - Weber BBQ - Wood fired pizza oven (wood provided) - Beach games - cricket, badminton, finska and frisbee - Fishing gear - Board games - Picnic basket, thermos, deck chairs, rug & umbrella - Pour over drip coffee - Sonos music amp and LP record player - TV with free-to-air and streaming services - WiFi internet We provide complimentary pantry essentials, premium New Zealand bath/body products and a well stocked drinks trolley to all of our guests. We have a laundry equipped with a washer, as well as laundry detergent. While we have a house manager a call away should you need anything, we offer a simple self-check-in, a comprehensive house guide and local activity tips.
