Tamalpais for endless outdoor adventures | 🍳Full kitchen and 🧺 laundry | Four guests max. 😀 We look forward to hosting you! 🔑This is an apartment on the bottom floor of a three story house (hosts live above the apartment). It’s an excellent launch pad from which you can explore Muir Woods, San Francisco, the Marin Headlands, Stinson Beach, Mount Tamalpais, and Wine Country. 4️⃣This apartment accommodates 4 people maximum, including small children/infants. Please do not book this apartment if you have more than 4 people in your party including small children/infants. 🧹The apartment is cleaned by a professional, caring cleaner; it is not cleaned by the hosts. 💨HEPA air filtration system for entire apartment; see pictures. 🌲 Shared garden with host 🐾We love animals but we do not allow pets of any kind. There is no flexibility to this policy and we do not make exceptions. 🚪Private entrance 📐Apartment size is about 450 square feet/42 square meters , which does not include the loft area. 🛏️One private bedroom with queen bed. 🛏️Sleeping loft next to the living room area with full size bed. NOTE: The loft is about 3 feet from the floor and guests will need to climb up to access it; there is a footstool provided. 🛋️Living room has a small sofa (this is NOT a sofa bed), chair, and side tables. 🍳Fully appointed kitchen with a microwave, gas oven, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, toaster, electric griddle/grill combo, and blender. 🧺Washer/Dryer in unit ☀️Outdoor dining table and chairs 🚙Easy street parking, free, and no time limit; not suitable for campers/RVs 🚪Private entrance 🌲 Access to large deck and backyard 🚙 Street parking only 👋 📱Always available via app/text/cell if not at home. Tamalpais. Easy street parking Buses: Bus stops are about a five minute walk from the house. Please check local public transit websites for up-to-date information: -Marin Transit (for travel within Marin County) -Golden Gate Transit (for travel from Marin County to San Francisco) -West Marin Stagecoach (small bus service) to Stinson Beach and Bolinas Ferries -The Larkspur Ferry to the San Francisco Ferry Building is a 10 minute drive -The Sausalito Ferry to the San Francisco Ferry Building is about a 7 minute drive 👉Important information -- Please review to ensure that this listing meets your needs and expectations, including for those in your party. Thank you! 1. Quiet Hours: All guests must observe strict quiet hours between 10pm - 8am, 7 days per week. This is a residential neighborhood with full time residents who work and go to school. Not observing this policy can result in complete forfeiture of your deposit. Maintaining good relations with our neighbors allows us to operate this rental. If you have already booked and think you and your guests may not be able to observe this rule, please reach out to us to work out a cancellation so that you can find another arrangement that meets your needs. Thank you for your understanding! 2. Maximum # of Guests: This apartment is suitable for up to 4 guests, including small children/infants. If you have any questions about this, please ask! 3. Noise: We are a family of three with a young son. Expect some overhead noise from time-to-time, which we make all attempts to minimize. 4. Subletting & Cancellations: The registered guest must be the person staying in the apartment; in the event that the registered guest has rented the apartment on another person’s behalf, cancellation without a refund may occur. By confirming your reservation, you are agreeing to the stated cancellation policy on your reservation; refunds are made based only on the terms of that policy. Only in the event that we are unable to host will guests be refunded outside of the cancellation policy. If you have any questions about this, please ask. 5. Parking: No on-site parking. Easy and free street parking only; please do not park in the driveway. Thank you! 6. No Pets: We love animals but we use the apartment for when family visit who are highly allergic to animals. For that reason, we don’t allow animals to stay in the apartment - no exceptions. 7. Children: There is a treehouse with a slide in the backyard that children are welcome to enjoy. Note: the slide is steep and you may find insects, spiderwebs, etc. in the treehouse. Children should be supervised at all times and their safety is exclusively the responsibility of the the adult guest registered. 8. Communication: Handled only through the Airbnb app and person-to-person so be sure to download the app before your travel. 9. Packages/Parcels/Amazon Shipments: We cannot allow items to be shipped to the property for liability reasons. Thank you for your understanding. There is a UPS store a very short walk from the apartment to which you can have items shipped: UPS Store 203 FLAMINGO RD MILL VALLEY, CA 94941 There is also an Amazon locker at the 7-Eleven down the road from the apartment in addition to lockers at Whole Foods Markets in Mill Valley. 10. No smoking: No smoking, e-cigarettes, or vaping/hookahs of any kind in the apartment or on the property. Smoking in the apartment or on the property will result in full forfeiture of the security deposit. 11. Checking Out: When checking out, please ensure that you have placed all trash in the trash can and you leave the apartment in the condition in which you found it. More detail will be provided in a message the host will send prior to checkout and it is also provided in the welcome binder located in the kitchen.
