The country apartments and cottages of “Il Granaio” are situated in the Maremma Toscana approximately 6 km. away from the beach. The building was set up around 1900 by the Italian Cavalry and served originally as a horse stable with adjacent hay shed. In 1999, the stable was restored and transformed into spacious rural cottages, without changing the original characteristics. In 2003 the restoration was completed; the hay shed has been entirely rebuilt, creating comfortable apartments. The space Every apartment consists of a living-room with kitchen corner, a spacious double room with possibility to add an extra single bed on request, a bathroom and a private garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and dishes for 4 persons, a stove with 4 cooking plates, an italian moka, and a large fridge with separate freezer. The bathroom has a showercabin, WC, bidet and washing table. The garden is equipped with a table, chairs and a beach umbrella. Guest access Several common areas are available including the swimming pool with sun loungers, a soccer field and barbecues. Since the pool is not supervised, children under 14 must be accompanied by their parents. We also offer our guests a short hike around our fields. In the center, among the young olive trees, we have left an area complete with tables and chairs where you can picnic or enjoy the sunset and the wide view of the countryside from Grosseto to Castiglione della Pescaia. Other things to note Rates include: Water, gas for cooking, bath and bed linens, use of the pool and WiFi. Rates do not include and are to be paid in cash upon departure: Electricity at consumption 30 ct/kWh and tourist tax, 1.50 euros per person starting from 14 years per night for a maximum of 14 nights. If used: washing machine (€3/wash), crib with high chair €25.00 per week, We do not charge for final cleaning, so please leave the apartment as it was delivered upon arrival with the kitchen completely clean.
