Il Granaio, Fienile apartment, with swimming pool

The country apartments and cottages of “Il Granaio” are situated in the Maremma Toscana approximately 6 km. away from the beach. The building was set up around 1900 by the Italian Cavalry and served originally as a horse stable with adjacent hay shed. In 1999, the stable was restored and transformed into spacious rural cottages, without changing the original characteristics. In 2003 the restoration was completed; the hay shed has been entirely rebuilt, creating comfortable apartments. The space Every apartment consists of a living-room with kitchen corner, a spacious double room with possibility to add an extra single bed on request, a bathroom and a private garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and dishes for 4 persons, a stove with 4 cooking plates, an italian moka, and a large fridge with separate freezer. The bathroom has a showercabin, WC, bidet and washing table. The garden is equipped with a table, chairs and a beach umbrella. Guest access Several common areas are available including the swimming pool with sunbeds, a football field and barbecues. The swimming pool is not supervised therefore children up to 14 years of age must be accompanied by their parents. We also offer the opportunity of taking short walks around our fields. In the middle of the olive grove, we have left a corner with tables and chairs where it is possible to have picnic or just to enjoy the sunset and the wide view over the countryside from Grosseto till Castiglione della Pescaia. Other things to note The rates include: Water, gas for cooking, bathroom linen and bed linen, use of the swimming pool and WiFi. The rates do not include and must be paid in cash upon departure: Electricity on consumption 30 ct/kWh and tourist tax, €1.50 per person from 14 years old per night for a maximum of 14 nights. In case you have used: washing machine (3 euros/wash), cot with high chair €25.00 per week We do not charge final cleaning and therefore ask to leave the apartment as delivered upon arrival with the kitchen completely cleaned.
