This is the perfect home base for all of your mountain adventures! Nestled amongst a rhododendron forest you will feel secluded, while still being close to everything the high country has to offer-Be to downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, or the Blue Ridge Parkway in minutes. We are typically close by so we can help you plan your trip with local tips, advice, and adventure ideas, so that you can enjoy the Boone area as much as us! The space This modest (700 sq. ft.) downstairs apartment (hosts are upstairs) is situated on a pleasant wooded lot in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near Downtown Boone (4 miles), Downtown Blowing Rock (8 miles), the Blue Ridge Parkway (7 miles), and area ski slopes. This space offers all the amenities needed for a wonderful mountain vacation. Use our local tips to have a wonderful adventure. Then after a day in the mountains, come home to relax in your private back yard area, which is equipped with covered seating, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill. We know that sleeping is important when your day is filled with adventure, so both bedrooms are equipped with high end memory foam mattresses and down bedding. It is a great place for a couples get-away or a family weekend in the mountains. We do allow well-behaved pets at no cost, but ask that you please give us prior notice. Also, please make sure that you check the rules below regarding pets. Thank you! Please note that the owners live upstairs, and while we try very hard to be respectful and quiet you may hear noise as we have a dog and small baby.
