The reconstruction of an old stone haystack where the cows were kept on the lower floor and on the top floor their food, gave rise to Casa da Vaca. The preservation of its original stone layout, as well as the entire surrounding space, the view of the Atlantic Ocean and a unique sunset, offer a exquisite refinement and nostalgia to the House. The space Casas da Levada is a picturesque Agritourism Quinta, made up of 6 individual Bed & Breakfast accommodation Villas, located on Madeira island, Ponta do Pargo. Fitting in with nature, in its purest state, an Agritourism space of charm and refinement emerges. Between walls, the contemporaneity intersects, in a unique way, with ancestral traditions and the typical region rurality. The charm grows with the magic of nature, animals, levadas and the endemic flora implemented. With six accommodations with a unique personality, privacy and exclusivity are points that connects the different spaces. The charming Villas with sea views, are located among the magic of the Laurissilva nature and the levadas, with easy access to trails and hikings. Surrounded by large gardens, swimming pool, animals and small organic gardens, where agricultural products can be freely harvested, the restored Villas, with tradition and charm, offer a total view of the blue Atlantic Ocean. Other things to note Tourist Tax A tourist tax of €2 per person per night is charged as required by the local government, applicable to non-residents aged 13 or older, for up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Laundry You can request your clothes wash during your stay with our laundry service (fee applicable). Grocery At the grocery store you will find food products obtained directly from organic farming and agriculture done at "Casas da Levada" and local producers. Here you will have at your disposal Madeira’s typical delicacies and Portuguese traditional gastronomy products. All the above duly accompanied by beverages and wonderful Portuguese wines. Hobbit Bar At the Hobbit Bar you can consume or take a drink with you and enjoy your favourite spot at Casas da Levada.
