Our cabin is off the grid, NO running water (read this twice) or indoor bathroom, but it’s comfortable and has been enjoyed by 100’s of Airbnb travelers. There is electricity, but this cabin takes an adventurer in the winter months. Winter Stays take work! Don’t be surprised of shoveling and bringing in your gear! Cabin is located on a gravel road that leads to Little Pond in Woodford, VT. It is an easy drive (15 min.) to Mount Snow and Bennington. Only a few miles from Prospect Nordic Resort. Woodford State Park is 3 miles away. It's very comfortable, but I don't want guests to be surprised. Water is carry in and the bathroom is a very clean outhouse constructed by Jamaica Cottage Shop. Lots of ways to get around, but no public transport at this location. This cabin is off grid in relation: no running water, but there’s electricity. If you want to shower the Bennington Recreational Center on Gage Street in Bennington, VT has a great showers and only charge one dollar. They also have an indoor pool and fitness facility. *Note you have to bring your water for drinking and doing dishes. ****requires walking into cabin during winter months!!!!! 400 yards from parking spot. Owner will let you know if road is plowed to make walk shorter. Do not be surprised by this and all season front wheel drive cars won’t fit the criteria. All Wheel Drive and 4X4 Only in Winter.
