Cottage by the Ocean

Cottage by the Ocean, perfect for the solo traveler, is close to museums, great views, hiking and dining. The guest room, dubbed the Tree Top, has a skylight and corner windows tree view. While the kitchen does not lend itself to food preparation, there is in-room coffee, tea, snacks, and mini fridge (see pic). The room is perfect for a short stay or extended stay while participating in one of the area workshops/educational programs. The skylighted shared bath looks out onto the ocean. The space Dubbed the "Tree Top" room because it corner windows look out on a wooded scene and the sky light always provides a glimpse of the sky. The cozy Ikea-styled room is quiet and comfortable for a short stay in the area. The desk area is well lit and includes easy access electric outlets and a charging station. Plan to rise early to catch the sunrise from the deck! If you are looking for an off season longer stay while working in the area or participating in workshops in the area, contact me for additional information. Please note that my two Siberian cats, Puppie and Angus, help with the hosting. Guest access The room includes a coffee maker, tea pot, a selection of snack foods, and a mini fridge just big enough for soda cans, yogurt, fresh fruit. The kitchen is not available for meal preparation. Guests are welcome to one of the rocking chairs on the deck. During your stay Most of my guests are solo independent travelers usually with a full agenda during their stay. I am always available to provide tips for things to do and places to eat. While I am not a hovering host, my guests typically find their stay very welcoming. Other things to note The bathroom includes body gel, shampoo, and conditioner.
