In a rural and historical context, very pleasant and quiet, inside a private property of 70 hectares, with lemon trees around and overlooking the sea, this apartment offer an enchanting starting point to visit the countless local points of interest: Palermo, Solunto, the historical villas of Bagheria, Cefalù, etc. We inform you that from 01/07/2023 the payment of the tourist tax will be required, as per the municipal regulation (see house rules). The space The apartment is part of an historical courtyard dating back to 17th century, when it was occupied by the nobel family De Stefano; you can find some historical information about that on wikipedia. The residence has two floors; the entrance is on the ground floor; the entire living area is located on the first floor and has a large terrace outside, sunny and private, where you can sunbathe and dine under the umbrella and enjoy the spectacular Gulf of Spain, just in front. The living room has a sofa-bed for two people, through which extend the house hospitality to 4 persons. The kitchen is large, spacious, inviting and bright: a space designed for cooking in fantasy, meet for the pleasures of the table and spend time to talk. On the second floor there is the master bedroom, very special and with a characteristic little window on the Bell Tower of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The House is equipped with all comforts including, hot plates, refrigerator, washing machine, hairdryer, iron, dishwasher, oven, 4 ring stove, plates, glasses, cutlery and crockery, beach chairs, furnished in a pleasant way, with the possibility of private parking and free internet and wifi. In front of the main entrance, inside the courtyard, there is room to park your car. The richness of this place is the atmosphere of peace that you can enjoy throughout the year, in the brightness of the days that characterizes the area and especially in the beautiful coastal view in which to wander the view, from the tip of Solanto (very charming and ancient fishing village), via Cefalù and its lighthouse, until arriving at the coast of Messina, where is possible to glimpse the Aeolian Islands, in conditions of good visibility. Guest access Guests have access to the property, the house and the car park 24 hours out of 24. During the day you can enjoy the farm lanes placed in private ownership, for walks in the surrounding countryside. For all indoor and outdoor areas, guests are required to avoid behaviour that might be offensive or harassing towards others Other things to note To reach the apartment it is advisable to set the restaurant / pizzeria "Baia dei Fenici" as the destination on the navigator and then take the private road that is right in front of the pizzeria entrance (in the section dedicated to information for guests you will find directions detailed). The nearby village of Solanto offers, through its bathing facilities, exclusive and equipped (surcharge) access to the sea; here it will be certainly pleasant to spend your days between sunbathing, crystal sea and fascinating cliffs. There are also small beaches and coves accessible free of charge, around the coast. During the spring and autumn these areas remain very enjoyable and temperate zones, and often these periods are preferable for those who can't handle the hot Sicilian sun. The winter months are certainly less frequented by tourists, but in this case you can enjoy more peace and the intimate spirit of the surrounding countryside.
