Amazing Beachfront Studio Apartment With it's north facing beach so you can enjoy both the sunset and sunrise from your balcony! Everything that you could want for a relaxing holiday is at your fingertips! The beach, the palm trees, amazing views, fresh sea air, amazing resort pools, restaurant and self catering options! Relax the day away in the pool or at the resort beach enjoying the tropical climate! This is an absolutely amazing location and only 25mins from Mackay Airport! The space Spacious, fully air conditioned ground floor beach themed apartment in a quiet and relaxing tropical setting on the beach at Dolphin Heads on Mackays Northern Beaches. Facing the beautiful Coral Sea. The Unit is located within the Dolphin Heads Resort but is NOT part of the Resort letting pool. It is a self managed unit so please reach out to us, NOT RECEPTION for anything that you need. Price is for the whole studio apartment and includes 2 adults and 2 kids or 4 adults in the one nightly rate but the single beds are only have thin foam mattresses, especially the trundle bed so best suited to kids PLEASE NOTE: WiFi is available in the unit. You will have access to all the resort facilities including the spacious lagoon style resort pool and spa and the Salt restaurant and bar. We have beach towels for guest use as well as toys, including noodles and other pool toys for both the adults & kids! A large community of ducks can be seen at the resort and from your balcony! Kookaburras can also be seen frequently around the resort, and possums at night. There is a kitchinette area with a microwave, 2 electric hot plates and pots and pans enough plates and cutlery for 4 people..... which you may find useful on the couple of days that the restaurant is not open. Complimentary tea, coffee & starter milk in the bar fridge Seasonal wildlife activities include Turtle nesting, Whale watching, Dolphin and Goanna Spotting and Migratory Shorebirds. You can also fish from the beachfront. The relaxing tropical north awaits you! PLEASE NOTE: There is no washing machine or dryer in the apartment. There is a communal coin Laundry at the Resort Guest access You are renting the whole apartment. No one else will be staying in the apartment. You also have access to all the resort areas including... * The lagoon pool with the heart shaped spa pool & kids 1m pool * Outdoor dining at the tables next to the pool * Resturant (you need to check times as opening times change seasonally) * Laundry which includes commercial washing machines & dryers. The cost is currently $5 per load and you can use a card or coins to pay. There is plenty of parking in the resort car park. We recommend arriving by car or Uber/Taxi as there is no direct public transport to the Resort, but we can send information about public transport options, if wanted. The resort is it's own destination, with a restaurant, bar, resort pools and spa. At the times when the restaurant is not open (currently weekday mornings, Sunday night & Mondays), it's a 30min walk to the Eimeo Pub for meals, a drink and to view the amazing sunsets from the pub. Other things to note WIFI is available in the unit. NO PETS ALLOWED at the resort Public Transport is not close unless travelling during bus pick up & drop off times, as you can catch the school bus during those times. You are best to arrive by car or plan on spending your time at the resort. We provide a kitchinette with basic supplies so that you are able to make meals when the resturaunt isn't open. When it is open the food is amazing! The resturant opening times vary based on the season. If you are relying on the resturant being open please call them to check on current opening days and times or do come prepared to make meals in the unit or have the ability to travel other locations for food. The Rural View shops are only a 7min drive from the Resort. There you will find Woolworths, Coles, Fast food like Dominos, McDonalds & KFC as well as a bakery, Kebab Shop and Australia Post.
