The stunning apartment is located in one of the most sunny parts of Madeira .Villa to Pombal is a two floor building ,that contain two separate apartments. Each apartment have private entrance. It has breathtaking views , allows you to leave all stress behind and enjoy the natural beauty of Madeira. Excellent place to rest with easy access to many tourists attractions. Apartment is located 5 min. drive to sandy Calheta beach. 25 fountain walk begin is about 10min. drive from apartment. The space The space There are plenty of other levada walks which begin close by. Other nearby activities include paragliding,scuba diving or surfing Calheta is an excellent place to arrange sea/fishing trips, dolphin watching and off-road tours. Calheta is a 45 minute drive from the airport. Some Madeiran people own holiday houses here to rest from the busy city life in Funchal. In Calheta, you can find the nearest supermarket, bank, restaurants, coffee shops and stylish bars where you can enjoy a cold beer, cocktails or excellent coffee. If you want to venture further out, Paul do Mar is a quirky finishing village located a 15 minute drive from the apartment. It offers many bars and restaurants serving fresh fish and delicious mojitos, best enjoyed at sunset. DRIVING : A car is essential for those want to explore the island. Please bear in mind, that driving on some beautiful roads in Madeira can be a challenge ! If you require airport transfer or welcome pack of food essentials, this can be arranged prior to your arrival at an additional charge. APARTMENT: This apartment consisting of a modern kitchen, two double bedrooms, a sunny open plan living and dining room, luxurious bathroom and a large terrace with beautiful sea views. It's recently built and has its own WI-FI network with great internet speed,that allows to live streaming several devices at the same time The kitchen is fully equipped, has an electric kettle, toaster, washing-machine , fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, gas hob and a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. The open plan living room has a sofa, coffee table, smart TV with international channels and a DVD player. There is also a large dining table with 4 chairs. The apartment has its own hoover and an ironing board. Bedrooms: Villa do Pombal comfortably sleeps up to 4 people. Bedroom one has a king size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, mirror, sea and village view with linen provided which is changed once a week for the entirety of your stay with us. Bedroom two has two single beds, a bedside table and mirror and sea view. Linen is provided which is also changed weekly. Bathroom has a shower, toilet, hand basin and a bidet. Towels are provided and are changed weekly. OUTSIDE: Share of Swimming pool with property owners only.Pool is surrounded by sun exposed terraces, with sun beds, hammocks. A large outside balcony has a full sea view with 4 chairs, table and four deckchairs. Because of the nature of the building as our accommodation is on the first floor, we are unable to provide wheelchair access to the property. IMPORTANT Madeira is very safe place to stay, however to provide maximum safety, the whole external area of the property is monitored 24 h by CCTV monitoring drive and the pool and entrance door. HOSTS: Owner of the apartment is living within the same property on the ground floor, accessing with a separate entrance, which makes the place even safer. Very helpful owners speak English and they are more than happy to help, give local guidelines, arrange activities if required, as well as recommend where you can drink the best poncha! Arrivals and Departures Check in is from 3pm. Guests arriving early may be able to check in and collect their keys and leave luggage with us until their room is ready, but please call first to make sure there is someone to welcome you. Check out is by 11am. NON-SMOKING POLICY Villa do Pombal is a non-smoking building and we kindly ask you to fully respect this policy. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony. We reserve the right to make a charge of an additional night to allow for loss of income, should the apartment be unfit for letting as a non-smoking apartment. This will also cover extra cleaning cost. Your liabilities We will hold you responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your act or omissions, default, accident or neglect.
