Like all of our other beautiful Dwellcome Home properties, this great property has every single base that a business or leisure traveller needs covered and retains the really homely feel of all of our places which is reflected in all of our reviews. Being well travelled for business and pleasure myself both with and without my children I know what it takes to make a place homely for both adults and kids alike and that is my aim for all of our properties, to create a home away from home for all, whether you are here for business or pleasure. Set over 1st & 2nd floors with 5 bedrooms and SIX beds (3 kings (including ensuite), 1 double, 1 small double, 1 single. We also have a HUGE (5m X 10m) kitchen/dining/lounge. Large family bathroom, super spacious kitchen/dining lounge, and super-fast fibre 100+Mbps broadband throughout, this property offers magnificent spacious living space for larger groups to enjoy and offers great uninterrupted and un-overlooked views at the front over the beautiful South Shields Cricket and Westoe Rugby Club Stadium. Unlike many serviced accommodation we have central heating controlled by HIVE room thermostat to maintain a cosy temperature, NOT ones which switch off after 2 hours so places can get very cold when going out of the place for a few hours or every night. Recent renovations include; opening up kitchen & dining room to form huge kitchen/dining/living space and installation of brand new high-quality kitchen/diner, multi-fuel stove in lounge with built-in window seat, high spec flooring throughout, brand new spacious designer bathroom with freestanding bath and brand new designer ensuite and high spec new oak internal doors throughout), new external doors and many windows were also replaced. Carpets are 80% wool mix deep pile. The bedrooms layout is as follows: Bedroom 1 Master ensuite (2nd floor): King size bed - Sleeps 2 Bedroom 2 (2nd floor): King size bed - Sleeps 2 Bedroom 3 (2nd floor): Double plus single bed - Sleeps 3 Bedroom 4 (1st floor): Small double bed - Sleeps 1 Bedroom 5 (1st floor): King bed - Sleeps 2 To help guests appreciate the spacious living space afforded by this home approximate dimensions are provided in the description below. Ground floor: Secure brand new composite front door leads to porch with space for boots, outdoor clothing, etc. Internal door leads to stairs to first-floor landing. From the kitchen, the back stairs leads to the back yard (where the wheelie bins are stored but please note, the yard is NOT intended for guests use otherwise), via a brand new 5 point secure door. First floor: King bedroom (5.5m X 4m X 3m high) - to left from first-floor landing top of stairs Bedroom 5 - Comfortable and spacious KING bedroom; Magnificent oak time KING size bed frame/Silent night mattress, with large original box bay window and beautiful built-in window seat, great for watching the lovely views over the cricket and rugby matches. With wood effect Karndean flooring a newly opened up feature brick chimney breast with new multifuel stove creates a beautiful focal point. Wall-mounted 32" Sony TV with smart TV features, NETFLIX, etc. Kitchen/dining room/living area (10m X 5m X 3m high) - straight on from first-floor landing top of stairs. This is the hub of this great house and provides a truly amazing place to socialise, cook, dine and entertain larger groups. Huge open plan kitchen dining and living space with hob inset into brick chimney breast which has been revealed to form a lovely focal point. This is a great communal and interactive area for socialising, dining, and entertaining. There is a large solid oak dining table with 2 benches on either side which seats 8 persons and a seat can be put at either end of the table to take seating to 10 persons. Butcher's block provides extra space for food prep. Our massive Italian white leather sofa, 3-4 brown leather three seated sofa and separate single-seater with 52" Sony TV with NETFLIX and other smart features. The brand new kitchen has a fully integrated full-size 50:50 fridge freezer, full-size dishwasher (tablets provided), induction hob, oven, and microwave. Well stocked with a good range of pots, pans, slow cooker, juicer, cutlery, cleaning equipment, etc. Please help yourself to our range of spices, oils, etc for cooking during your stay. A washing machine installed down the back stairs from the kitchen (on the ground floor utility area) near the back yard door to ensure no unwanted noise from the washing machine spoils the ambiance of this living space. Detergent is provided for you to use during your stay. Bedroom 4 - with SMALL DOUBLE bed, bedside cabinet, reading lights, and wardrobe with drawers. Second floor Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom (5m X 3m X 2.5m high) - first door to left with large original box bay window and sweeping views over the cricket and rugby club ground. KING size bed. Large chest of deep drawers, wardrobe, 2000w hair drier provided in the bedside cabinet, reading lamp, make-up mirror. Ensuite (1m X 2.2m X 2.5m high) - from the master bedroom. With walk-in mains powered shower enclosure, wall hung wc, and wash hand basin. Main Bathroom (4m X 3m X 2.5m high) - the second door from right Beautiful and very spacious family bathroom with newly installed separate open walk-in shower, large freestanding bath to relax in, designer column and towel radiator, wall hung wc, wash hand basin/storage drawer and finished off with top quality tiles to floor and wall/feature wall. Attractive tiling with subtle LED mood lighting to set it off. Bath & shower recesses where toiletries can be easily accessed. Bedroom 2 (4m X 3.5m X 2.5m high) - third door from left KING size bed. Solid oak wood wardrobe and large chest of drawers, storage chest (with spare blankets, towels and bedding). 2000w hairdryer provided in the bedside cabinet. Bedroom 3 - (5m X 2.5m X 2.5m high) door from right DOUBLE plus SINGLE bed and mirrored sliding wardrobe, large solid wood chest of drawers. Iron and ironing board provided in the wardrobe. There is ample on-street parking right in front of the property. Outside space - there is no outside space for guests use. The front of the property is to collect the keys and the rear of the property is for the wheelie bins only and not useable for guests other than this. Ideal for both short and long-term stays; please contact us at DWELLCOME HOME with your requirements and we can consider long-term/repeat discounts (e.g. Relocation, insurance, corporate or contractors bookings). STRICTLY 5 ADULTS MAXIMUM - this is to rule out bookings from large non-family groups (folks coming to the area to party!). We have had to remove guests in the past, police involved, etc, and have measures in place to prevent this occurring again so please do not try to book unless you are the right type of guest. There is a lockbox for building entry and only codes for bedrooms booked are given by myself for access. Strictly no parties, as a last resort we have security on standby for problem guests so please don't bother booking unless you are the right type of guest.... Outside space - there is no outside space for guests use. Guest type: The property is strictly not for events/parties (unless by agreement with myself), or for guests who will not respect my neighbours, specifically in terms of noise. Strictly no events (I.e. photoshoots, etc unless by prior agreement). I have lovely neighbours who help me with the property and are my friends. Please do not book if you are not confident that the whole occupants will keep to this throughout your stay. If there are noise/antisocial issues guests will be removed. Entry: Strictly only persons booked into the property are allowed in unless by agreement with myself. Check-in: Please note we use a self-check-in service which allows a good level of check-in for guests arriving late. Although I do try to meet guests whenever possible please note it is not policy to greet guests on arrival but I always ask guests to contact me once they are into the place and to confirm that everything is to their satisfaction.
