Known to all the locals as the "Banana Bach" this basic kiwi bach is located directly across the road from Oruaiti Beach at Waihau Bay. Oruaiti Beach is a white sandy beach which is only a short walk across the road. It is unpopulated and sometimes you feel like you have the beach all to yourself, so don't forget to pack a good book and a yoga mat. The space The bach itself is original and has the all of the living up stairs. On walking up to the entrance of the home you come to a decked area, this is a great spot to sit for afternoon BBQ's . From the deck you enter the open plan main living area. The kitchen is original of the 1960's and offers all the basic necessities you need whilst away on holiday. There is TV in the lounge/dining room and you will get phone reception through Vodafone. The large section can cater for boat parking. Other things to note Note: The bach is currently being renovated so will reflect differently to photos. - This bach is original of its 1960's era, it is ideally suited to fishermen and people that are happy with basic accommodation. The property is in need of renovating and the reviews reflect this. - Waihau Bay has a Vodafone network only- there is no Spark cellphone coverage. - Guests have to cross the road/state highway to get to the beach ⚠️ Pre-Authorization Damage Deposit Hold To ensure coverage for any potential incidentals or damages during your stay, Bush to Bay Holiday Stays will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $250 on your credit card two days before check-out.
