Welcome to the Chalet du Moulin de Lapeyre, nestled on the edge of a private lake in Saint-Estèphe, at the heart of the vast forests of the Périgord Vert. From the moment you arrive, you are invited to relax and enjoy the stunning lake views from the stilted terrace. You will be able to fully enjoy our 25-hectare estate, whether you are seeking peace and quiet, canoeing on the lake, cultural activities, or you enjoy hiking and no-kill fishing. The space The chalet is a perfect blend of comfort and charm, and you will quickly feel at home. Thanks to its large openings onto the outdoors, you will be immediately immersed in the beauty of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park. With 130 m², the chalet comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests, offering: - 3 bedrooms (including 1 wheelchair-accessible bedroom), - 3 shower rooms, - an additional sleeping area. The chalet is fully air-conditioned and has been designed to be accessible to one wheelchair user with reduced mobility. • THE TERRACE You will particularly enjoy the large stilted terrace overlooking the lake. From sunrise to sunset, it offers magnificent views over the water and the surrounding forests. The terrace is equipped with: - a dining area with electric plancha, - two sun loungers, - two armchairs, - a parasol for relaxing moments. For the safety of children and pets, a wooden fence has been installed around the chalet. Please note that the lake shores are not secured: children must always be supervised by an adult. • COMFORT & LAYOUT The space is generous and thoughtfully designed for everyone’s comfort. On the ground floor: - A fully equipped open-plan kitchen with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, conventional oven, raclette machine, blender, kettle, crockery, glassware and full kitchen utensils. - A large living and dining area with panoramic lake views, - A lounge area with leather sofa, TV and electric fireplace, - The “Acacia” bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and private shower room with walk-in shower and WC, specially designed for two guests with reduced mobility, including one wheelchair user, - A utility room with washing machine, drying rack, ironing board and iron. Upstairs: - The large “Sequoia” suite with a queen-size bed (160 cm), a workspace, a private shower room and separate WC, - The “Épicéa” bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and private shower room with WC, - An additional sleeping area with a single bed (90 cm). • AMENITIES - Wi-Fi connection - 3 private parking spaces directly in front of the chalet Up to two pets welcome We provide: - Bed linen (beds made on arrival), - Towels and household linen, - Cleaning products (soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels, bin bags, sponges, laundry detergent, etc.). • ACTIVITIES AROUND THE LAKE There are many activities available around the chalet, for all tastes and in every season. • Canoeing A canoe is available from April to October on our private 3-hectare lake. Enjoy a peaceful paddle and let yourself be carried by the serenity of the surroundings. • Walks, hiking & cycling Dordogne is a paradise for nature lovers, with over 7,000 km of marked trails. Around the lake and nearby forests, enjoy gentle walks, hiking or cycling routes suitable for all levels — ideal for wildlife observation and fresh air. • Saint-Estèphe The Grand Étang de Saint-Estèphe, located 800 metres from the chalet and the largest lake in Dordogne, is a beautiful public site with: - supervised swimming in July and August, - children’s playground, - tennis, pétanque and basketball courts, all with free access. • Recreational no-kill fishing In addition to peace and relaxation, you can enjoy recreational no-kill fishing all year round, in accordance with our rules. Fishing is possible from the terrace, the lake shores or the two pontoons. Species include carp, perch and roach. • GASTRONOMY Foie gras, duck breast, truffles, ceps mushrooms and Bergerac wines… Périgord is a land of gastronomy. Nearby, Le Val de Chanedière (10 minutes away) offers farm visits where you can walk among the animals. You will also find restaurants along the Grand Étang de Saint-Estèphe, just 800 metres from the chalet.
