This all-season cottage in the township of North Frontenac is situated on Missassagagon Lake, a hidden jewel in the heart of Eastern Ontario's cottage country. It's an idyllic setting for couples, friends and families who are looking to relax, have fun and appreciate the great outdoors. The space The cottage has a great open concept design that flows nicely from the kitchen, dining and living area. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide great views of the lake - a perfect setting to socialize and unwind any season of the year. On the main floor, the living room has comfortable seating, a soaring wood-burning fireplace, a 55' TV with cable and DVD player with surround sound. The master bedroom includes a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet and sliding doors that lead to a private deck where you can sit and enjoy the view of the lake. There's a 2nd bedroom with queen size bed and 3-piece bathroom. The dining area seats 8 people comfortably. The kitchen (with adjoining laundry room) is fully-equipped with everything you need to make yourself feel at home. The adjacent sunroom has additional seating where you can enjoy the fresh air, even when it's raining. The spacious loft overlooking the lake provides additional sleeping space, including a queen size bed, sofa bed and a single over double bunk bed. For indoor activities, there's an assortment of board games, puzzles, books and DVD movies for all ages. The outdoor area has an expansive deck with propane BBQ and patio furniture for dining al fresco. The large grassy front yard is flat for outdoor activities and easy water access. There are two picnic table for additional seating; a gazebo for shade; a fire pit for a real Canadian cottage experience; Muskoka chairs and loungers for relaxing; and an assortment of lawn games for outdoor play. With almost 200-ft of waterfront (shallow water entry), spend time in and around the pristine water. Provided for your enjoyment are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a non-motorized boat. Don't forget to bring your fishing rods, bait and license. Mississagagon Lake supports a warm water fishery, in particular; lake herring, yellow pickerel, northern pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, yellow perch, rock bass and pumpkinseed. In the evenings, watch the stars come out and enjoy the darkest skies in southern Ontario. Fun fact is, that North Frontenac was the first municipality in Canada to receive Dark Sky Preserve status from the Royal Astronomical Society in Canada.
