Receive a warm welcome to this well equipped apartment. Opposite a safe beach and close to many scenic walks & a takeaway/cafes. The apartment is completely self contained with a full kitchen, laundry, complimentary unlimited WiFi, Sky TV, desk, table and outdoor furniture. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom and a King Single bed in the lounge. Snorkel gear and a 1 & 2 person kayak and life jackets are also provided. Perfect for couples, friends, adventurers, and families. Relax ... The space We are literally across the road from the beach. The unobstructed views can clearly be seen from the apartment - even while sitting in bed! Or just pop across to the grassy bank by the water as you have a drink while watching the sunset. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Enjoy the comfort of your home away from home. If you are lucky, you may spot a dolphin, seal or orca in the bay and at night you can often hear the sound of bird calls, including Kiwi and moreporks. Whangarei Heads is proud to have increased Kiwi numbers to over a 1,000 Kiwis in the vicinity. (See a photo that a guest took of a male and female kiwi that was resident on our property on the bank next to the apartment for several months). The apartment has plenty of onsite parking (right next to the apartment) and your own deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ. The full kitchen contains an oven, ceramic cook top, microwave and full size fridge/freezer with icemaker. However we are only 2 minutes drive or approximately 10 minutes walk from a takeaway/cafe and 6 minutes drive from a bottle store, supermarket, bakery and 2 more cafes (including an indian food takeaway). There is also the highly recommended Parua Bay Tavern which is only a 10minute drive away. There are many beautiful scenic walks and bays to explore (swim or snorkel). Also, there is the beautiful surf beach (Oceans) which is only a 10minute drive away. It is a favourite of the hosts with its white sand and sand dunes. Whangarei Heads is the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We look forward to welcoming you one day. Please note: it is strictly a no pet policy sorry.
