Treehouse at Stag Leap - Cabin in the canopies!

The Treehouse is a unique cabin rising into the trees. Its wall of windows gives you a bird's-eye view of the surrounding canopy. This cabin is well-suited for extended stays as it is equipped with an in-house washer and dryer and has a covered area for parking underneath the stilted house. We are located just 10 miles outside of Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, and 4 miles from beautiful Lake Nacogdoches, where you can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, and disc golf. The space The inviting loft bedroom extends the full length of the cabin and looks down on the living room below, but it has plenty of privacy. It includes a queen-sized bed and comfortable seating for a relaxing escape. The private wet bath houses the washer/dryer units, toilet, shower (no tub), and a built-in cabinet with multiple drawers. The vanity area opens to the main living area and has a sizable closet and drawer space which provides ample clothing storage for long-term stays. The fully equipped kitchen has a full-sized stove/oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, a standard coffee pot, griddle, crock pot, pots and pans, utensils, and plenty of storage space. The living room has a leather loveseat, TV, table and chairs, and a full-sized Murphy bed. A cozy window seat is tucked under the staircase and is perfect as a reading nook, an afternoon nap, or additional bedding. ***IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS CABIN & OUR PROPERTY*** A normal-height vehicle will have no issues driving under the Treehouse to park; however, if you are driving a lifted truck or SUV, you will have to back out of the driveway. The hot tub, laundry room, and activity field are shared amenities. The hot tub is extremely close to the Treehouse and may be reserved for an hour of private use; however, you do not have to reserve it to use it. All other amenities are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. We have a NO PETS & NO SMOKING/VAPING policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. Extra fees will be charged if we determine smoking has occurred inside the cabin. Guest access Your cabin is on 250+ acres and has multiple trails for exploring the woodlands. We offer golf cart rentals for an additional fee. A link will be provided in your reminder and check-in messages if you'd like to rent one. We offer a contact-free check-in. You will be provided a map and directions to your cabin when you arrive at the main house on the property. You will have full access to your cabin. The cabin will be unlocked when you arrive, and you will find a key inside so you can secure your possessions if you leave. You also have access to a free laundry facility attached to the hot tub area. All guests on the property have access to the hot tub, but it can be reserved for private use for an hour at a time for no additional fee. Other things to note Although we aren't very far from great places to eat, you may never want to leave the property once you arrive! Feel free to bring your own food or visit one of our local grocery stores to stock up for the weekend. We have tried to provide everything you'll need in the kitchen, but if something is missing, we will be happy to accommodate any reasonable requests.
