Make your stay in Midway special

Midway is nested in world famous Horse, Bourbon country in Kentucky, historic downtown minutes away with unique shops, excellent restaurants & wonderful ambiance. My husband & I live on the 2 story single family property with two gentle whippet dogs. We like to greet guests and we respect our guests privacy. There is keyless entry/free parking/ outside security cameras in a very quiet neighbourhood. Available for questions thru text/ Airbnb messages/in person. Please read other descriptions The space The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, you will find space in our home if you are travelling and need to break the trip or visiting the area be it for racing at Keeneland, event at the Horse Park, touring the Bourbon distilleries or visiting family/friends. Please keep in mind hosts live on this property with two gentle whippet dogs. The Queen bedroom is on the second floor with an adjacent bathroom. This is mostly not a shared guest bathroom but on an extremely rare occasion it maybe shared (it is listed as shared). I would let the guest know in advance if it happens to be shared before their stay. Property has a keyless entry, free parking and outside security cameras. The dogs Jasper and Archie are super friendly and like to greet guests ( then keep to themselves) but can also be put up if guest request. We do advise keeping bedroom door closed as they may wander in out of curiosity. As stated my husband and I live on this property. We love to engage in chat but totally respect our guests privacy. Our living space downstairs and outside patio is open to guests so feel free to use kitchen and outside space. They is always space in the fridge/freezer to store food etc. I am available for any questions thru text/airbnb messages or in person. We are surrounded by the world’s most magnificent and famous thoroughbred horse farms and World renowned Bourbon distilleries. Historic Midway was the first town in Kentucky founded by a railroad, there are a number of restaurants to choose for dining and unique shops to browse. Keeneland Race course/ Kentucky Horse Park are approx 20 min drive. My husband or I will be at the house to greet guests on arrival. There is also a keypad entry in the case we are not available. Code will be disclosed on arrival date. I can be contacted thru texting/ Airbnb messages or in person with any questions/ queries Please note this is a single family home with a room available to guests (queen bed suitable for two adults) and shared living space downstairs for sort term stay (5 nights maximum).
