Between the Mozart city of Salzburg and King Ludwig's castle on the Herreninsel in Lake Chiemsee lies my very large apartment right on the edge of the forest in the quiet, original Achthal, municipality of Teisendorf, Berchtesgadener Land. The apartment with over 200 square meters consists of a large living-dining room with tiled stove, dining kitchen, bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom. In the attic there are 2 more bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, designed as apartments. The two floors are connected by a spacious staircase in a representative open hall. A large balcony covers the entire south side of the apartment and is complemented by a large south-facing covered terrace, as well as a smaller east balcony at one of the two apartment rooms in the attic. The garden on the south side in front of the house can also be used. The apartment is located in the idyllic village of Achthal in the municipality of Teisendorf in the Berchtesgaden region and is very quiet and idyllic on the edge of the forest and is only accessible via a private road. The small town has about 100 inhabitants and is about 3 km from the highway exit Neukirchen of the A8 (Munich-Salzburg). Supplies: The apartment is fully furnished and can accommodate up to 8 people. Almost all rooms are equipped with high-quality oak parquet, except for the upstairs bedroom, where a high-quality carpet is laid. A fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine is available. The garden in front of the house can also be used. Other things to note Start interesting excursions on your own in the immediate vicinity, such as Königssee, Eagles Nest, Berchtesgaden salt mine, Bad Reichenhall, Chiemsee with King Ludwig II's Herrenchiemsee Castle, Salzburg, Grossglockner or even Venice, Vienna or the various lakes in the Salzkammergut. A day trip to the state capital of Munich with a shopping spree is also within reach. Shopping: In addition to a butcher's shop with snack bar in the village of Achthal, the nearest shopping facilities, including supermarkets and discount stores, are in Teisendorf (about 5 km away), Oberteisendorf (about 2 km away) or Neukirchen (about 3 km away). Further shopping opportunities with a much wider selection of shops and also larger shopping centers are in Traunstein, Freilassing or also in Salzburg. A tourist tax of €1.50 per day per person must be paid locally. This is a local government obligation.
