Farmhouse Casita

Farmhouse Casita in scenic Llano San Juan 10 minutes off the High Road to Taos. Full kitchen and bath with washer dryer. Private fenced yard with garden, patio table and lounge chair. Fire pit with wood. Spectacular mountain views and 10 farm acres to roam. Pets are OK but only small dogs inside. (kennel and/or fenced yard available for bigger dogs or ones that shed profusely). Designated parking space and room for RVs. High speed Wifi is available. The space The Farmhouse Casita can sleep 4 ( one queen and a double sleeper sofa). The Casita is part of an artist residence... art supplies are available upon request. We are in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end road so it is very quiet and peaceful with dark skies at night for star gazing. Our farm is next door to the old HogFarm commune (now an organic farm) and the Road Hog (a famous historical bus) is on our premises. We have horses and chickens and supply fresh eggs when available. I pay a local woman a living wage to clean before and after each visit. Guest access Guests have the whole private casita apartment as well as their own private garden. You are welcome to roam over our 10 acre property, following certain pathway restrictions when our hay is growing. (You are welcome to help irrigate and partake in farm chores if you wish to). Other things to note We accept pets but please let us know if you have a pet that sheds so we can cover couch and remove rugs. Also if you need a crate since pets should not be left unaccompanied in Casita. We sometimes have to clean more thoroughly after pet visits so an extra tip is appreciated. if your pets wander, please keep them on lease outside as our neighbor has free range chickens.
