By the river: old mill

Old watermill of 115m² restored by the river in the Gatinais style. Its bucolic garden bordered by the Huillard gives it a unique charm. During the day, enjoy the river, while in the evening you can fall asleep to the sound of the lapping water or enjoy the crackling of the fireplace For questions related to sheets, cleaning and requests for long stays: please read the house rules The space The MILL consists of a large living room with fireplace insert ( there are no shutters but curtains in the living room on the river view side), furnished and equipped open kitchen, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, bathroom, wc . Upstairs: hallway, 2 bedrooms (the 1st with 1 double bed, the 2nd with 1 single bed and a bed on a bed base) river and garden view, reading area. Partially enclosed wooded land with old buildings (soue, barn) At your disposal: barbecue, garden furniture . You will come across many animals: herons, egrets, fishing martins, occasionally a ragondin baby, and a few deer when it's very hot . But also all the little animals on the water's edge. Guest access The Rental is located in a small hamlet of a few houses, there is no one opposite. Nearby you will find the Orleans Canal (400 m) you can walk its towpaths on foot or by bike and reach the historic center of Montargis. Things to know about the peculiarities of the house before booking: there is a step down to access the kitchen and the handle of its window works upside down to open and close it, there is no shutter in the living room on the river view side. The garden is partially enclosed , access to the river is direct ( no protective barrier) .
