La Bastide du Claus Vitaverde - Gîte Sarriette

We welcome you to our bastide, quiet in the Provencal hinterland. La Bastide du Claus built by a squire of Louis XIV away from the small flowery village of Cruis (labeled Village and City of Character) has crossed the centuries. Its old stones welcome you under the benevolent shade of its century-old lime trees. Its 17th century basin powered by the source of the property allows you to cool off. You are at the heart of Haute Provence, at an altitude of 700 m. The space Entering the bastide, you enter an old Provencal house with old-world charm, with all the comforts of today. Our cottage Sarriette 4/5 people is classified 3* and has independent access, two bedrooms with firm and comfortable bedding, a storage space, a bathroom (shower) with the scents of lavender (with private toilet), a living room, a fully equipped kitchen/dining area (stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, etc.). The Sarriette cottage has its private terrace or garden area with sun loungers, outdoor table, umbrella. Each host can stroll through the park for more than one hectare, cool off in the 17th century old stone basin, or read in the shade of century-old lime trees, respecting everyone's calm. All our areas are non-smoking Wifi, barbecue, washing machine and ironing board with its iron are shared access. We also provide a foldable bed and a high chair for infants. The cottages are rented by the week only. For flexibility, your check-in day can be on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday depending on availability. The Sarriette cottage is on the first floor, south west of the bastide, with south views of the valley to the Alps. It is a T3 of 45 m2 for 4 people with 2 bedrooms: one with a bed of 190 x 140 cm, and the other with a bed of 190 x 140 cm. On request, it is possible to add a 190 x 80 cm bed for a fifth person.
