With stunning mountain views, kangaroos grazing at your doorstep and a roaring open log fire, the Mudbrick Cottage creates a space to step back from the hectic pace of modern life. The cottage offers you 60 acres of beautiful native bushland as your own secluded getaway. A place to unwind and reconnect with life’s simple pleasures, exquisite sunrises, glorious sunsets and some well-earned downtime all set at the foot of the Grampians National Park. The space The first thing you may notice of the Mudbrick Cottage is the how naturally this earth formed structure nestles into its natural Australian bush setting. Upon entering this cottage the warm and welcoming feeling prompts many guests (especially honeymooners) to just soak up the ambience, enjoy the open fire, and dream overlooking the beautiful views of expansive hills and plains. Other things to note The Mudbrick Cottage in one of four cottages set on 60 acres so it's a quiet peaceful area, with plenty of space between each cottage to give you total privacy. It's a safe environment for child to roam freely and we have many native animals residing on the property including kangaroos and emus. Plus free range chickens that are very popular with guests. There is a parking area by the cottage and walking tracks within the property for you to enjoy. There is also a large shared BBQ area for guests. We are 10kms from the centre of Halls Gap.
