Ewood Cottage is an exquisite stone built cottage, sitting in the grounds of Ewood Hall, on the edge of Centre Vale Park. Lying on the Pennine Way, Calderdale Way and National Cycle Paths this quaint country cottage provides the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. The space The cottage has been recently renovated to the highest standard - retaining period features but providing all modern services and utilities. The ground floor comprises the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen contains all modern appliances, including dishwasher, microwave, fridge, electric oven and hob. A washing machine and freezer is also available in an outbuilding, if you have booked for more than 1 week, by prior arrangement. All utensils, crockery and glassware required for home dining are available The white bathroom suite is complimented by the exposed stonework and sage green metro tiling. Containing bath/shower, sink, heated towel rail, along with towels for your stay. The first floor comprises the lounge and 2 bedrooms. The lounge has a sofa and armchair, with additional seating available, a flat screen TV with free-sat and living flame gas fire. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed and generous wardrobe space. The second bedroom has a single bed, with a trundle bed available for a 4th guest. With the trundle bed out, space in this bedroom is limited. Gas central heating controlled by room thermostat, and 4G WiFi are available throughout. The cottage is accessed through a picturesque courtyard with seating and lined by flower beds. A patio area provides outdoor seating with views across Centre Vale Park, towards Stoodley Pike. Allocated parking is within the grounds of Ewood Hall, only 20 yards from the cottage entrance. Secure bike storage is available but please make us aware of this requirement at the time of booking. Note: Cars are parked, and bikes are stored at the owners risk. We cannot be held responsiblee for loss or damage. Guest access The cottage has its own patio and garden which is well maintained and tranquil. We ask you dont use the garden of Ewood Hall, for insurance reasons, although looking out across it is recommended.
