NUMBER ONE BERGALIA - Comfortable family holiday home with views of Camden Haven River. Spacious, modernised home with 3 bedrooms 1 bath upstairs. Simple overflow room aka converted garage downstairs. External laundry with second bathroom. Pilot Beach and Wash House Beach 500 meters away, easy stroll towards the end of the street. Smart TV. Fishing, swimming, surfing, hiking all within 5-10 minutes walk or drive. Ceiling fans in all upstairs bedrooms. Free WIFI. Small dogs only on request. The space LAYOUT AND BEDDING Total beds 8 Upstairs: 2 Queen beds, 1 King Single, 1 Single. One bathroom. Downstairs: 1 Double bed, 1 Bunk bed, e.g. 2 singles. This room is older style. Outside seperate laundry building with second shower and toilet. THE SPACE This has been our family holiday home for more than 30 years and we are happy to share it with you when we do not use it ourselves. Upstairs features open plan living, dining and kitchen area with water views. Kitchen has a ceramic hotplate and Nespresso coffee machine. Down the hallway are 3 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet . Downstairs is accessible via the outdoor front stairs and has an overflow bedroom with a double bed and single bunks, perfect for the teenage retreat. Outside of the back deck is a separate laundry building with second bathroom with toilet and shower, washing machine and dryer. The back yard is fully fenced, has an outdoor entertaining area partly covered, two sun loungers, large hooded Weber BBQ, and green level yard. SURROUNDINGS Local cafés and shops are just a short drive away. Many rock oysters are farmed in the area, get the freshest seafood from the local fish Coop. Kattang Nature Reserve is at the end of the street with beautiful headland hiking trails, blow holes, view wild flowers in season and watch the whales migrate from May-Nov from Point Perpendicular. Collect shells from rock pools at Washhouse Beach and enjoy incredible sunset coloured skies. Pilot beach is a great swimming beach, also for laps as it is shelted. North Haven beach is patrolled in summer. Surf beaches are 10 minutes drive, try North Haven, Rainbow Beach in Bonny Hills and Middle Rock surf break in Lake Cathie PARKING Parking is available on the driveway. Free street parking. The lock up garage is in use by the owners for storage and is not accessible to guests. Plenty of room for a boat in the driveaway, boat ramp is 5 minutes drive. PET FRIENDLY ON REQUEST ONLY Pet friendly for small dogs only. Pre-approval required as courtesy to the property owner. Kindly inform us about the type of pet and age, or chat to us about your needs. Maximum of 2 small dogs. Pets not allowed on beds or lounges. No cats please. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Guest access Guests have access to the full house and yard. Garage is not available to guests as it is used for storage. Other things to note CANCELLATIONS AND COVID Standard Airbnb cancellation policies apply to your booking. Once the free cancellation period has elapsed we will apply more flexible rules if your cancellation is related government enforced COVID lockdowns and travel restrictions: 1. Change your booking free of charge to a future date. This is the preferred option. If the new dates are more expensive, you pay the difference between old and new rates OR 2. Cancel your booking whereby we apply more lenient cancellation rules. We generally charge 25% (instead of the typical 50%-100% loss of monies within 30-7 days prior to arrival) with a minimum of $200 to cover our costs plus any commissions that Airbnb still charges us.
