Roundstone Quay House is one of the busiest rental properties in all of Connemara. The view from the living room and bedrooms, described as one of the best views in Ireland, is ever changing throughout the seasons. Located on the pier in the heart of the fishing village of Roundstone in the Connemara region, an area famous worldwide for its picturesque views, award-winning restaurants, fishing, walking and breathtaking beaches. O'Dowds Bar & Restaurant and Vaughan's Roundstone House Hotel, only metres from the house, serve award winning seafood throughout the season. Also have a look at the Roundstone Quay Cottage, our smaller 2 bedroomed house just next door, which was fully renovated in 2022. The Quay House has central heating, cable broadband with WiFi, satellite TV, free parking outside the door, hotel standard beds, linen and goose down duvets. Golden sand and crystal-clear water can be found at Gurteen Beach and Dogs Bay, only 2 km away. These beaches are a mecca for swimming and beach combing throughout the year. Climb Errisbeg mountain behind the village and return for O'Dowd's famous seafood chowder, or locally picked mussels prior to a short stroll down the harbour to the luxury of the Quay House. Guest access The guests have complete access throughout the entire property during their stay. Other things to note Please note that this a self-catering rental which means meals/food provisions are NOT provided. Guests should bring their own food supplies or else buy locally in the village. The nearest store is a 2 minute walk from the house and has all the basics and more. The nearest supermarket is a 20 minute drive away in the town of Clifden.
