Description
The Mas des Terres Rouges (annex of the Comptoir Saint-Hilaire) is a former Cévennes farmhouse that has been completely renovated. The 7 bedrooms and living rooms have been decorated in an atypical and very original way, a real invitation to travel. The farmhouse has a high level of comfort: private bathroom and toilet in each bedroom, air conditioning or heating throughout the house, Jacuzzi area, large secure swimming pool, park all around and nature as far as the eye can see... The space The Mas des Terres Rouges is close to the village of Vézènobres, a very beautiful village of character, but also to Uzès, Nîmes and the Camargue. The Mas des Terres Rouges is nestled in an idyllic setting, overlooking the Cévennes. A dry stone farmhouse, terraces around the house, a swimming pool in the heart of the Garrigues and an unobstructed view, what could be better? The Mas des Terres Rouges is above all a 700 m2 building (on two levels), ideally designed for holidays with friends or family, for the greatest independence of each. Inside, the bright rooms are carefully decorated and the very comfortable bedrooms are air-conditioned and all have a bathroom and private access. Located in the heart of the Cévennes Gardois, many experiences and activities are accessible nearby: Stroll through the picturesque villages, taste the gastronomy and local wines, visit the Uzès market, go horseback riding, discover the Cévennes with the family, immerse yourself in a Bamboo forest, pretend to be a gold digger, dive into a Roman city, visit a cave, hike the trails on foot or by bike… or simply relax around a game of petanque. And then breathe, sunbathe, dream, it's your break! Nearby, you can visit the Duchy of Uzès, the Pont du Gard, the Bambouseraie d'Anduze,... a little further, Nîmes, Arles, Avignon and the Palais des Papes, but also the vast beaches of the Camargue. From the Mas, you can go hiking, cycling, horseback riding or quad biking. The Gard and the Cévennes are home to many small Provençal villages: Vézènobres, medieval village, La Rocque sur Cèze, ... But also spectacular caves: La Salamandre, Trabuc or La Cocalière. For thrill seekers, the Ales mechanical hub has 10 car, motorcycle or karting circuits. Possibility of canyoning or climbing in the area. You can access the farmhouse by car. By train to Nîmes TGV station (30 minutes by car) or by plane to Nîmes Garon airport (30 minutes by car) or Montpellier airport (1 hour by car). Parking (free) on site.
