Nichols Nymet House, is an ancient Manor mentioned in the Domesday book. The current Manor House was built in 1816, and combines Georgian grandeur with a relaxing feel and modern amenities. Close to the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park Nichols Nymet offers a wonderful central Devon location for relaxing and touring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The space Friendly, family run Manor House Bed and Breakfast in Large Double room with a view. Ensuite Bathroom, Full English Breakfast with fresh produce and eggs from our own hens. We offer peace and quiet in a lovely unspoilt part of Mid Devon close to Dartmoor National Park. Situated close to North Tawton, a small Market Town with several pubs/restuarants a post office and other shops. 17 miles west of the City of Exeter and 7 miles east of Okehampton. Nearest Train Station is Copplestone. Buses also run past the end of the lane, but you really need your own transport! Guest access Spacious guest bedroom with sitting area with stunning view and large en-suite bathroom. Other things to note The house has a few steps and all the bedrooms are on the upper floor. Nichols Nymet House is best accessed by private transport.
