The house sits on 4 acres of pristine land. Guests can enjoy lush greenery from every window. Enjoy deer, rabbits and a quiet neighborhood as you take walks or drive up. I am also open to renting more rooms if they are not occupied by family. One bedroom has a king sized bed and a bath attached. This bedroom is large and has a good size closet with chest of drawers too. The room has a mini refrigerator. If needed, a second bedroom is available and has a trundle bed with a bathroom across the hallway. The second bedroom is smaller and is more suitable for youngsters. The house has four bedrooms, but I am currently willing to rent only two. I am open to negotiating the whole house too if it is for a very short stay. The common areas will be the T.V room that has a small fridge for guests; The kitchen is available for guests to use cups, glasses, flatware, daily plates, pots and pans, stove, oven and microwave etc. The new sunroom is a great room to sit and read and have a Tete a Tete. The basement has a large washing machine that can be operated if I am there. Please bring your own detergent if you stay for more than a weekend. I will be in and out of the house and will do my best to make your stay comfortable. If I am not available there will be a person to meet and situate you. Though this house is far from the madding crowd, it is a four minute drive to the center of town. For parents of Woodberry Forest School, the house is a five minute drive from campus; it is a 40 minute drive to Charlottesville, a 40 minute drive to Fredericksburg, a 20 minute drive to Culpeper, a two hour drive to Washington D.C and a 10 minute drive to the pristine Montpelier, the home of Madison. The Blue Ridge Mountains surround this area and is approximately 40 minutes away, depending on the point of access. Battlefields such Chancellorsville, Wilderness and Manassas are all within a 30-50 minute drive. From a small town feel, to nature, to big city options, this location provides guests with a unique blend of choices. It is almost impossible to get around without a car. But once you have wheels the opportunities for accessing a wide range of activities is in plenty. Links for fun things to do... The large bedroom with two twins will be priced at 70; the second at 40. The yard is conducive to a parties. The entire house can sleep up to 8 people and has three baths. There is a semi-finished basement that can be used to relax too.
