Modern Retreat steps away from downtown Truckee.

This is a 2 story unit with bedrooms upstairs and living space downstairs that underwent a top-to-bottom renovation of our 900 sq. ft. Truckee home in December 2017. Super convenient location perched above Downtown Truckee with views to Northstar, the Carson Range and surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy a night out on the town with a short walk home, or just sit on your deck over the bustle of historic downtown while the setting sun provides a painted backdrop, get the picture? The space Come in and relax and enjoy our 50" tv's, fast WiFi, and a gas fireplace in our quaint mountain community. We do not have cable tv but you can stream on your Hulu, Roku, and Netflix accounts. We do have a Keurig on site for your use for coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc. Please note that you will need to bring your own K-cups and creamers, etc. btw Sleek and Newly Remodeled is also owned by Kern and is 3 years newer. It does not have the reviews as of yet but want you to know the lodging options. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. You will be given a code for the front door that is activated for your stay. There are 2 parking spaces available. One is an uncovered space to the left #8. The other is a carport space #8. Other things to note Inclement weather (e.g. heavy snow) can impact your trip. Guests should be prepared for weather related events such as power outages, road closures, etc. Plowing generally begins after 4" of snowfall accumulation. There is a train that runs through town day and night. It is audible from the unit. We have provided ear plugs for those who might want a little extra noise cancelling. There are 2 queen beds.
