Shea-Oak Log Studio Shed
Description
Our converted shed is a cozy and comfortable one bedroomed studio with glossy kitchen, granite bench tops, timber floors, shiny bathroom and large carpeted bedroom with a comfy queen bed. The studio has everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful and comfortable stay. Located in western Barossa, just off the Sturt Hwy, minutes away from Barossa attractions and 50 minutes from Adelaide. Be Consumed-In the Barossa. The space The Shea-Oak Log Studio AKA The Shed, is a lovely space. A large double glass sliding door lets the morning sun stream in onto the timber floor. There is 2 leather lounges which seats 5 people with ease. The extra large bedroom has a queen bed and room for a portacot, if needed. The Studio is set up to fit 2 people with comfort. The Studio is full insulated and very comfortable in any weather, with 2 air conditioners, portable heater and fans. The Studio is located at the southern end of our 15 acre property, which is around 250 metres off of the Sturt Highway. You will hear some road noise from time to time. But it doesn't bother many. Our home is around 600 metres away from the Studio. Guest access The Studio is a converted shed. With half of the shed converted into living quarters and the other half remains an implement shed for the vineyard equipment. There is a door joining the two areas but this remains locked at all times. Guests will have access to all the living areas, bathroom and bedroom and are also very welcome to wander through the orchard and vineyards around the Studio. The Studio does not have a washing machine. But there are laundry mats in Gawler and guests can use the clothes line out the back of the studio. Please be conscious that this is a working vineyard and machinery does move around the vineyard from time to time. Also, we are very rural and have numerous wildlife come to visit including foxes, mice, kangaroos, emus, snakes and endless birds. Other things to note The Studio is located on our 15 acre property. Also, it is good to remember that this is a farm and we are surrounded by broad acre crops and farm machinery moves around our property and adjoining paddocks. Occasionally you may see some of the local wildlife like kangaroos and foxes and also the occasional mouse and snake around the place, but we do do our best to keep them at bay. Its all a part of country living!
