Located close to UW, two large city parks, and two movie theaters. The university is about a mile from the house. There are many chain type restaurants close by, and the downtown area where there are many restaurants, shops, and bars is less than two miles, or just a few minutes away. The Snowy Range is just outside town, and is a great ski area that has wonderful hiking in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Skiing prices are much better than the resorts in Colorado. The room is located in a private house, in a wing that is only accessed by the guests. Owner has living spaces downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, and is available for you to use. Coffee and continental breakfast included. There is a gas grill if you wish to grill. There are small dogs on site, but they do not go where the guest room is. They are available for hugs and belly rubs if you feel the need. A second bedroom is available and can be booked separately- ask host to unblock. Bedroom, kitchen, dining, bath and living room are accessible to the guests. The back yard has seating, as does the front deck. The kitchen is equipped with all you might need if you choose to cook. There is a gas grill, but in the winter you may want to consider cooking inside. There is a large patio deck out back. We are usually in the kitchen, or hanging out in the basement family room with the dogs. While there is Tv in the room with Netflix and Amazon Prime, you can come down and hang out with us. We can always be reached by phone if we are not onsite. Very quiet residential area with street parking. The house is close to the University, Dining, Parks and Movie Theaters. Downtown is close, and has many very nice restaurants, bars, and shops. Laramie has a very nice, old downtown that is vibrant and has many activities daily. Laramie is very bike and pedestrian friendly. There is ample free parking downtown. There is limited parking on campus, but we are located close to the shuttle parking lot, which will get you to the heart of the campus quickly. I have many brochures for you to check out about what to do in the area. There is a community recreation center, and you can go if you get a day pass, or punch card is you are staying more than a day or two. There are swimming pools at the rec center, as well as outdoor pools in the summer around town. There are many hiking opportunities in Vedauwoo Recreation Area, and at Curt Gaudy Park which is near Cheyenne. In the winter there is cross country skiing nearby, and the Snowy Range Ski Area is just outside of town, with good skiing and excellent prices. Rental equipment is available in town.
