Description
From a distance our tower looks like the rest of a Saracen tower... It was probably an inspiration from the old days that led to the fact that more than 50 years ago Hertwig von Schöfer started to cut stones from the flanks at the end of the property and to build the tower... This is how our holiday home was born over time and we, widow and daughter of Hertwig von Schöfer, would like to share it with you and rent the tower room for 2 people. The space A paradise, between sky and sea, a garden like Eden! From the village it is about 15 minutes walk, past lemon trees and a small ascent with rock steps, then along the water pipe to our garden door - an oasis of peace and serenity. A backpack is best suited as luggage, the path is sometimes uneven, with steps or very narrow. In the village is everything you will need, such as grocery store, bar, bakery and bus. It's about a 30-minute walk to the beach, 5 min by bus from the village The days can be made very diverse, such as with a day trip to Capri, Pompeii or Sorrento on the Amalfi coast. Many hiking trails and spas also invite you to stay on Ischia to recharge your batteries. The Castello in Ischia Ponte also invites you to take a day trip, or an island tour by bus. A hike to the highest mountain on the island, Epomeo is rewarded with breathtaking views over the whole island to the mainland (Naples). Guest access Make yourself at home and respect it like it's your own home! During your stay I am here for questions and am also happy to provide information about possible activities. Other things to note Not suitable for people with: walking disability, fear of heights and infants. Each guest is responsible for them! There is no wifi or Internet at the house. This is in the village in the bar and the people there are very nice and helpful.
