Experience the pristine beauty of every season at Lake Willoughby in the Northeast Kingdom of VT. My year round home is located on the main road Rte. 5A; across the street from the lake, with lake views from your room. Close to beach areas at both the north beach and south end of the lake. Short ride to hiking trails of Mt. Pisgah and Mt. Hor. 20 min ride to Burke Bike Park and Kingdom Trails. Walking distance to country store & deli. Towels and all linens are provided. Your room is in the front of the house on the second floor, with a view of the lake from your window. The room contains a double bed, bureau, desk, 2 chairs, a rack for clothes and mini fridge & microwave. The bathroom is located next to the bedroom, with a shower in the old fashioned clawfoot tub. the bath is shared with other guests, if there are any. Pet free and smoke-free. Plenty of parking behind the house. Guests will have access to the kitchen, dining room, front porch, and patio. Space is provided in the fridge for your perishables that don't fit in the mini fridge- for longer stays, shelf space in the cupboard is offered if you need it. Because of guests varied diets I don't offer breakfast. I do provide coffee (Keurig) and teas, (electric kettle). Sometimes I have fruit and breakfast snacks, but I don't always get to the store in between guests. When you arrive I am usually here to greet you, if not I will let you know and give you check in directions ahead of time. It is a good idea to text me your time of arrival. I am available for directions and info. There is a booklet in your room on places to eat and things to do around the area. I'll do my best to accommodate you ☺️ Private room in quaint house located in the village of Westmore on Rte 5A at gorgeous Lake Willoughby. House sets back off the road. When you turn onto Ministers Brook Lane, my house is the first one, go right at the fork into the dooryard. Steps to boat launch to watch the sunset and a short drive to both North and South Ends of the lake. Superb swimming in the cool, crystal-clear therapeutic waters of Lake Willoughby in summer or just enjoy the view. Awesome hiking trails to Mt. Pisgah and Mt. Hor with amazing overlook of Willoughby Lake. Just a short car ride to Burke Mtn. Bike Park & Kingdom Trails and the towns of Lyndonville, Newport, Orleans and Barton. Come and see for yourself what the beauty of the Kingdom is all about. Westmore is located 15 mins from I-91, Barton exit 21, via Route 16 ; or 25 mins from Lyndonville exit 23, via Routes 5 and 5A. Not accessible to public transportation of any kind. You need a car or bike or skis. LOL Please note: Make sure your GPS is directed to 50 Ministers Brook LANE, Westmore, VT 05860.. there is another Minister Brook ROAD in Worchester, VT, which is far away. It is always smart to have a paper map or print directions ahead of time as GPS is unreliable in rural areas.
