Enjoy our ranch style home just 20 minutes from Monterey & walking distance from Downtown Salinas. Our home is perfect for families, featuring a 7 person hot tub, outdoor dining, seasonal decor, themed bedrooms, kid friendly yard, arcade games, farm animals, and large kitchen. Please come enjoy our 1950's farmhouse while we are away! The entire property will be yours with no other guests or residents being present during your stay. We include all the comforts of home. This is our primary residence that we love to share with travelers when we are away. Bedrooms: There are four bedrooms. In all we can sleep 12, not including infants. For infants, we can set up a portable crib upon request. Every room offers a large wall mounted TV. They are all smart TVs with access to Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, and Prime Video. The Forest Room features a California King Ghost bed with a ChiliSleep Cube Sleep System. There is an attached full bathroom stocked with fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. A queen airbed can be added to the attached sunroom upon request at an added cost with at least 24 hours notice. The sunroom has toys inside the teal ottoman that your little ones are welcome to enjoy and a treadmill. The Forest room has a door that leads to the back patio and hot tub. This room can sleep up to four guests. The Dream Castle Room features a queen bed with a memory foam topper, sleeping two. Children are welcome to play with toys found on lower shelves. Please enjoy the vintage My Little Ponies, Rainbow Brite, and plushies found on the higher shelves and hammocks with your eyes only. The Ghostbuster Room offers a twin bed with a twin trundle, sleeping two. The toys and Ghostbuster memorabilia are to enjoy with eyes only. The window looks out into our chicken coop and rabbit hutches. The Eighties Room offers a full loft over a full bed, sleeping four. Please enjoy the many 80s toy collectibles with eyes only. Guests are invited to play arcade games on the retro arcade cabinet. Bathrooms: There are two full bathrooms. A spacious, newly remodeled bathroom with a tub and shower, two sinks, fresh towels and complimentary toiletries is located near three bedrooms. The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink off of the Forest Room. Both showers have shampoo and conditioner. Linen: Additional pillows, blankets, and linens can be found in the linen closet in the hall. We do not ask guests to strip beds or complete any kind of laundry tasks. Kitchen: Please help yourself to fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese, oatmeal, eggs, coffee, espresso, tea, milk, creamer, and use any of the dinnerware, appliances, and cooking utensils. You are welcome to anything in the fridge, spices, etc. We appreciate when guests can load the dishwasher before checking out. Living room: The gas fireplace warms the house quickly. We also have central heat and AC. You are welcome to watch tv or movies on our soft leather couches. Cleaning: If you need any cleaning supplies during your stay they are located under the sink and in the top cabinet by the primary bedroom. A broom and mop are in the entry way closet. Yard: Please enjoy our child friendly yard and gardens. Our outdoor dining table seats eight. We also offer an outdoor sofa, gas grill, charcoal grill, gas fire pit, large in-ground trampoline, and hot tub. Hot Tub: We offer a seven person extra deep 49 jet Hot Springs hot tub. The key for the hot tub is hanging by the front door if it is locked when you arrive. Please supervise children at all times & enjoy! Animals: We have a cat who will not be on the property. While the house is thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive, there are cat trees and a possibility of encountering allergens for very sensitive people. In the large coop on the side yard you will find chickens, quail, and bunnies. We also have a guinea pig pen in the backyard behind the trampoline. Everyone will have enough food and water for the length of your stay. Aquarium Passes: We have two passes to the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. The passes are in a little rainbow case on top of the bread box. Aquarium passes, if used, need to be returned to the house after your visit before 10pm on the day you check out. Guest Pets: We can no longer accommodate guest pets or emotional support animals. Service dogs trained to complete a task (guiding vision impaired, cardiac alert, etc) are welcome. Please only let your service dogs use the front yard to potty. There is a $250 fine for pets or ESAs. Guests are welcome in all rooms, except the garage. Make our home your home while enjoying the Salinas Valley and Monterey Bay. We are happy to answer questions via text or calls during your stay. This is a quiet residential area close to many shops and restaurants in Oldtown Salinas. We recommend using Uber. If you've never used Uber before, use the code SEX54UE and get your first trip for free. Early Check In & Late Check Out: We can usually accommodate early check in and late check out when pre-approved before the start of your stay. When approved, early check in and late check out is an additional $40/hour. We cannot offer refunds for circumstances outside our control such as poor weather or road closures. These are rare occurrences as we are in a residential area with a very mild climate. Aquarium passes, if used, need to be returned to the house after your visit before 10pm on the day you check out. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Our neighbors are mostly retired and have not hesitated to reach out to us if gatherings are loud. Please no gathering outside late at night. Guest Pets: We can no longer accommodate guest pets or emotional support animals. Service dogs trained to complete a task (guiding vision impaired, cardiac alert, etc) are welcome. Please only let your service dog use the front yard to potty. There is a $250 fine for pets or ESAs. AirBnB has banned parties at all listings with any gathering of more than 16 people prohibited. The fine for an unauthorized party is $500. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property: inside, the backyard, the front yard, the driveway. There is a $500 fine for smoking anywhere on the property because of the significant risk that debris pose to the animals on the property. Be sure all of your guests are aware. Balloons are not allowed on the property. Popped balloons are a choking hazard for children, pets, and wildlife. Confetti is not allowed on the property, it is difficult to clean indoors and impossible to clean outdoors. Because the risk of death associated with balloon debris, there is a $500 fine is any is found on the property. Please be mindful of your trash, do not leave more than 3 trash bags worth of trash. There are 4 bins in the kitchen for sorting: aluminum cans, recyclables, compost, and trash. All additional trash beyond 3 plastic bags worth, boxes, crates, etc should be disposed of off the property by the guests. Our bin space is limited. If excess trash is left there will be a $25 dump fee. We do not expect guests to strip beds or start laundry, you are on vacation! However, please respect our hardworking housekeepers. Please do not track mud through the house, leave beverages spilled on the floor, etc. Children are welcome to play with toys, please put them back the best you can. Collectible toys in the bedrooms are not for playing. There is no garage access. Please treat our home and belonging with respect, and enjoy your stay.
