Private Suite on Rice Lake - Hermitage Pellerin

Enjoy fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking on Rice Lake, then relax in our beautiful private suite which includes a queen sized bed, a comfortable pullout sofa in a cozy living area and kitchenette. You may also enjoy hiking or biking in the adjacent conservation area or just lounging on the dock. The space This lakefront home is nestled in a natural setting, on the edge of the Oak Ridges Morraine, next to hiking trails. Relax in a spacious bedroom and enjoy the view from large windows. The living area has a comfortable sofa bed as well as two cigar chairs and a large screen tv. A family of four can comfortably eat at the table while taking in the scenery. Our kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster oven, a hot plate, a Keurig coffee maker as well as any dishes and supplies that may be required. Guests can also prepare meals on a BBQ and use the fire pit. Enjoy water sports by trying out the paddle boards, the canoe or the kayak, then relax by a camp fire. We can also provide docking if you choose to bring your own boat. Catch fish from our dock or we are always happy to share our "spots" for catching pickerel or bass a short canoe ride away. In winter, use our snowshoes or bring cross country skis to explore the trails, skate on the lake or try ice fishing. Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Guest access Guests have access to the full lower level suite as well as our outdoor property. Guests may also use our canoe, kayak, two paddle boards, mountain bikes or snowshoes. We will supply life jackets. Other things to note This is an ideal place to observe Ospreys, Bald Eagles, Blue Herons and other wildlife. You can also fish from the dock or bring in your own boat. Please keep in mind that as we live in the country, Internet is not always as reliable and as fast as in the city.
