Electric plug for car is available; must bring own EV mobile charger, and surcharges might apply. The house is on a slope and is not wheelchair accessible. It might be unsuitable for people who struggle with stairs. Guest access The studio is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee machine, water heating kettle, electric grill, hairdryer, iron, LCD, satellite TV, radio, small fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Other things to note GREAT for a RELAXING vacation, stay-in, stroll the sea path or walk down to the beach. CENTRALLY LOCATED for driving trips to Rijeka and Opatija Riviera to the west, Crikvenica Riviera to the east, Krk island south, or Gorski Kotar woods to the north. Plitvice lakes, Cres island, and Rab island are also a day trip from here. DRINK fresh tasting Carsic water straight out of tap, no need to buy bottled water. This area is famous for its excellent-tasting water, and we love saving the planet from water bottles. Kraljevica is a town with maritime tradition and the oldest shipyard (1729) in the northern Adriatic, but also with medieval castles built in the XV and XVI centuries by Croatian noble families Zrinski and Frankopan. In the town of Kraljevica, there are several restaurants, cafes, market, bakery and pastry shops, fish and fruit shops, post office, bank, pharmacy, gas stations. The town center is a 5 min drive from the house (less than 2 km walk for athletic types). Rijeka Airport, located on the island of Krk, is just a 10 min drive. Exciting day trips to the islands of Krk, Cres, Losinj, and Rab, all easily accessible by car and/or ferry, or by boat tours departing from the nearby lively town of Crikvenica (15 min drive) where you can find a few diving and paragliding centers. The city of Rijeka is the biggest port in Croatia, with its theater, museums, galleries, open food market, shops, restaurants, and cafes. Trsat Castle, is only 20 min drive, while nearby Opatija, the so-called Pearl of Kvarner, is 15 min further.
