This compact private annexe with bathroom is separate from the main house with a beautiful terrace and BBQ is surrounded by mountains. In this tiny village you have access to river swimming, white water rafting, fishing, cycling and mountain hikes. For history lovers - Medieval castles and the beautiful town of Carcassonne. Rennes le Château and Bugarach with their legends. For artistes - A beautiful inspirational area surrounded by mountains, gorges and lakes. The space Leave all your worries behind and come back to nature! Feel energised and relaxed in these beautiful surroundings. Open all year, this pretty private room with a shower and toilet, nestled up in a small mountain village, is independent from the main house. With the bonus of a beautiful terrace surrounded by the mountains and forest, with views of the gorge Pierre Lys and the River Aude below to cool down in with picnic area. This cosy space, about 10m2 has everything a person should need for a comfortable stay with the addition of outside space and BBQ for cooking outside. A double bed, small folding table with two chairs, fridge, microwave, mijoteuse Crock-Pot and free coffee/tea facilities. Please note there is NO KITCHEN in the room. Continental breakfast or an evening meal can be prepared if ordered in advance. Bed linen, towels and shampoo/soap are provided. There is cellar space to leave baggage, bikes and sports equipment. I live next door with my overly friendly cat, Mango. Parking is in the village square with an energetic 3 minute walk up, 60m to the room. This is a small mountain pedestrian village. Motorbikers welcome. The room is available from 15h but luggage can be left earlier. Morning departure is between 10 and 10.30am. Not for people with walking disabilities. No animals and no smoking in the room. The nearest shops, restaurants, take aways and bars are few kilometers away are Axat, Belviane and Quillan. Guest access Terrace with BBQ. Basement to put bikes or other sports equipment. During your stay We speak English and french with a wide knowlegde of the region.
