Waterfront Beach House - Bay of Islands

Tapuaetahi Beach House provides the classic kiwi holiday. Located on the waterfront at a private white sandy beach with so much diversity; lagoon, estuary, coastal walks. The property is orientated for interaction with the sea, as you BBQ, eat, read, lounge around - the front covered deck & daybed is just metres from the sea. 1/4 acre seafront site with many trees, it is so private. A classic 1960s Bach but renovated, fresh and fully equipped with modern appliances to make your stay perfect. The space Privacy and proximity to the sea makes our beach house such a special space. A large covered deck with daybed, BBQ and large table is just 30m from the water - you need go no further to enjoy the sea - sometimes even seeing dolphins, orca and schooling fish without moving from the comfort of a chair. Within 100m you are on one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in New Zealand, with very few people on it as the Bay allows only access to residents or their invitees. A delightful lagoon and estuary add to the diversity of what you will experience. There is a coastal walk to another secluded beach. Snapper can be caught off the rocks at the bottom of our property, and even crayfish too. If you have a boat you have access to some of the best fishing and spearfishing in New Zealand. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property of 1/4 acre (1100m2) which extends right to the sea front. Other things to note Many basic food ingredients are in the cupboard - likes of sugar, salt flour, and many herbs. In the garden is rosemary, oregano, thyme, lemon grass, kaffir lime, lemon & lime trees. Appliances include Italian espresso machine & grinder, breadmaker, Bosch oven/hobs, Miele fridge, chest freezer. A Weber Q BBQ. Two kayaks are available for free use. To keep costs down our standard offering does not include linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels, bath mat, tea towels) - these can be hired on request for a one off cost of $30 per person).
