Description

CLEANING (€75), CITY TAX and night checkin (if after 8pm) are TO BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL. More information in the rules of the house. NO AIR CONDITIONING but we provide 2 BIG FANS. WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE REALLY SPECIAL? SUPER CENTRAL location (8 mins on foot from the Rialto Bridge and 17 from San Marco). Gorgeous CANAL VIEW. STRONG W-IFI connection. We make sure everything is super CLEAN. 1st floor, so not many stairs. LUGGAGE DEPOSIT on the ground floor allowed upon request. TAP WATER is POTABLE. The space In an 18th century palace (300 years old), this small apartment is ideal to visit Venice as it is in the center of the city, precisely by San Polo Square. Rialto and St. Mark's Square are only a few minutes away on foot. It is also very convenient for arrivals and departures because it is about 15 minutes on foot from the train station. In the area there are lots of restaurants, caffetterias and shops. The wooden table in the living room is also 300 years old. The paintings on the walls are antique, and some of them represent the view on the grand canal. Designer furniture: The bed and the sofas have been designed by Cini Boeri, while the black armchair is the Lounge Chair of Eames by Vitra. They are exposed in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, as well as in Triennale di Milano. The gray chairs are Selene Model by Vico Magistretti, also exposed at Triennale di Milano. Wi-Fi is strong, the kitchen is fully equipped, linen and towels are provided and in the bathroom you will find shampoo and body wash. We have just bought a new mattress for the bed so the bed is now very comfortable. In Venice city center cars are not allowed to circulete due to the nature of the city, which has lots of bridges and streets are very very narrow. So venetiants move around the island either on foot or by boat, which we call "vaporetto". A few minutes from the apartment you can find San Silvestro boat stop (for line 1) and San Tomà boat stop (for line1 and line 2). Guest access The meeting point is directly at the apartment. Once the booking is confirmed, Airbnb will provide you with the exact location and address. The apartment can be reached in the following ways: • From VENICE MARCO POLO AIRPORT & from TREVISO CANOVA - Aerobus to Piazzale Roma and then on foot to the apartment (15 minutes). If you have heavy luggage you can also catch the boat, Line 1 to San Silvestro and then walk to the apartment. • From the Venezia Santa Lucia train STATION or from the Piazzale Roma bus stop you can come on foot (15 min) or catch the boat, Line 1 to San Silvestro and then walk to the apartment. The official check-in time is from 2pm to 8pm but, if possible, we like to allow guests to check-in earlier. Please let us know if this is your case and we will do our best to accomdate you. In case of arrivals in the evening, it is still possible to check-in with an extra fee listed in the rules of the house. Water Taxi – If you prefer to travel by taxi to have a faster and more comfortable trip, we can book one for you. Just let us know and we will take care of everything. Other things to note NO AIR CONDITIONER, BUT 2 BIG FANS. Registration Details IT027042B4HMBATRK9
