We love to share our unique home with others. It was designed by my husband, architect Kevin Busch. It is very open and light-filled, yet private at the same time. As hosts we live at the property but do not share any guest spaces. If you are in the loft area outside of your room, you might see or hear us. The main level of our home except the front entry and hallway to upstairs - is private and off limits to guests. Your private bedroom will be on the upper level and includes a Queen-size bed, dresser, desk with chair, closet, luggage rack, and more. Check the detailed amenity list. Your bedroom is adjacent to your private over-sized two room full bath. There are no facilities to prepare meals, but you may have food delivered. You will have a mini fridge and small microwave. SAME DAY RESERVATION NOTE: I need a minimum of 3 hours' notice before you may check in if you book same day as check in to be sure I am home and can accommodate your request. You may always send a message to ask if you may check in sooner. Enjoy the relaxing airy loft space with table and comfy chairs. If you are a coffee drinker this is where your fresh brewed pot will be served each morning. We have a big open side yard you may enjoy, but requests you not use the backyard as we have many windows open to the house. Can't wait to have you see and enjoy our home. Guest access I try to accommodate both early and late check-in requests, however the time you select may not be possible. You may always drop off luggage in advance. Once you have been welcomed you may come and go as you please. This is your home during your stay. you will use the front door. Please leave your shoes on the tray at the bottom of the stairs. This helps keep my new carpeting clean and this is a signal for me to know if you are home or not. Airbnb policy requires me to be brutally specific on the following guest rule. The entire main floor of our home is not part of your Airbnb rental. This includes the living/dining room, master bedroom and bath, kitchen, library, powder room, hallways, lower stairs and basement. You have a three-drawer dresser and empty spaces in the closet and on the shelving in your room to use. Everything else is private whether marked private or not. Please don't enter the other two bedrooms upstairs or my private study. During your stay Expect Felicia and Brooks (golden retriever) to personally greet you at the front door. I enjoy good conversation but also respect your privacy if you prefer. I will help answer any questions or provide information - just ask! Other things to note Our centrally located rental is best suited for travelers who plan to see the local sights, in town to work at a local business, visiting friends and family and for people on their way to or from another destination. We do not accept reservations from those who need a place to work from home all day. It will not be comfortable for you or us if you plan to be here most of your time. Please be sure you understand the cancellation policy before booking. Full refund if cancelled at least 5 days before check-in.
